I can't give you any technical figures. Before I did this I would get no signal in my kitchen and my garage, after I put the beer can on the antenna I works in both placed perfectly.

@xxsnip23snip It is directional. It can be any aluminum can I guess. The only thing is that if you mess up on a beer can it's not such a bad thing to have to start over.
