why is there a giant piece of paper in the garbage??the guy goes in because he needs to help with the trick...he Criss comes out to take of his shoes so the guy has time to pull up the glass to make the hole in the wall...he stand there in front of the window for a while so the guy can run over and fix the window back to normal(around 3:08 you can see him running back)...thats how he did it!!

I agree...A lot of the principles of stage magic include distraction. I think that was the key. And notice how they turned the camera away while removing the paper. I think those people were actors...But I could be wrong. But trying to guess is only half the fun :)
