Bible even testfies he is not god but just one of the best human who was given miracles by our creator. y do u morons go against bible n yet claim to be christians

  • That's why your church is known as ROMAN Catholic...I will stick with my protestantism, especially in light of the apostolic witness of Borgia and de Rovere, inter alia.

  • GOD BLESS THA FUCKING WORLD!!! WOO

me and a group of people are trying to get the word "Christmas" not banned from our kids school...but the lost souls :(

  • GOD bless John Michael Talbot

  • I very like this song

  • I love Gods people, peace be with you

  • Very beautiful. Congratulations.

  • ~No one who comes to me, shall hunger, again...And I shall give them rest...

~What a beautiful Promise, to such a weary world!

  • this is still my favorite JMT song. beyond beautiful

  • As a Methodist minister I am always moved by the Sacrement of Communion and how, by sharing this simple meal, we commune soul to soul. Something new is created beyond my understanding when the grace of God is acknowledged and accepted. As a practicing Quaker for years I understand the peace of silence and the sacramental peace of Holy Communion.

  • @suziqrev God Love you , peace be with you and all your family. Thank you for your faith in Him and your love for others.

  • "He who comes to Me, shall never thirst." What a promise! Those of us who have had our ears opened to hear, and our eyes to see the truth and the power of Christ, have witnessed and experienced the awesome grace and agape love of God our Father...let's take the beauty of that revelation and love people into His Kingdom as God loved us into His Kingdom. Because truly, we did

nothing of ourselves...it is wholly Him.

  • Wow......

  • I was inspired today to listen to this song;it was already in my heart. Those of you who have tasted of the bread and the cup understand that the incarnate One is present in these elements. I am a Christ follower who never tires of this truth and to be a partaker of the Real Presence is a gift beyond our imagination. Praise be to the Lord Our God. Skip Beyer

  • JMT's music stands out as a substantive contribution amid the fluff of so much other contemporary Christian music that came out about the same time.

  • The songs of John Michael Talbot are for the Church, that means all of us. As a pentecostal Christian I have been very blessed by JMT's music. I feel sure that our Heavenly Father would agree this is for us all.

Thank you John Michael, for giving us music which will take us into the presence of the Lord.

  • This really isn't a forum for criticizing. I can say one thing, I believe that the signs of a "True Church", It must be founded by Christ, Holy, Apostolic (power handed from Jesus Christ and given to the Apostles and handed down thru centuries), Catholic (Which means universal.) As far as I can see only Roman Catholics, and Orthodox Christians meet that bill.

  • The music of Brother JMT is heavenly and edifies the soul

  • God always looks to the heart, be you Catholic or Quaker. I do not think on that day He will ask us our denomination. The issue will be what we have done with His Son. If we have believed, as demonstrated by our lives, then praise and glory. If we have loved the institutions of man above His Son, then shame and dishonor.

  • :-)

  • amen.............................

  • This is perfect for today...holy thursday :)

  • 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

    John 6

  • Nice video but the priest should genuflect after the consecration...

  • @davyrt:: each religion seems to think it alone has a hold on the Jesus thing, but I again remind you Jesus wasn't Catholic, Episcopalian or even a Christian. HE WAS BORN AS, LIVED AS & DIED A JEW.

  • @jim1658 So I guess that whole "Upon this Rock I will build my Church" thing really didn't matter? Just Jesus funning with his homies?. You keep this up and the Episcopal Church will make you a Bishop. You are the epitome of political correctness. I also stand by my snakiness comment about you. Though I honestly think you have graduated to the C----- word that my English friends use for men they whole in low esteem.

  • @davyrt St. Peter wasn't Catholic either; none of them were. I'm not bashing Catholicism, I'm just saying the Catholic church and Catholicism don't have sole rights to the path to salvation. The Episcopal Church is an offspring of the Catholic church so I have great respect for Catholics. When Jesus referred to building a Church upon this Rock, I doubt he had a specific denomination in mind, the 'Church' represents his followers not a particular religion. Please spell out the "C" word for me.

  • @jim1658 the catholic church was built upon the rock of st. peter. it is in the scriptures. st. peter's basicilla was built on the very spot of which st. peter was crucified. the centre of the catholic church. i am catholic and i don't know a single catholic that goes around saying our church is the only way to heaven. i'm open to all denominations and other religions. i have no authority to claim my beliefs as right against others. why are other churches always so negative towards catholics?

  • @fleurgi St. Peter wasn't Catholic, St. Mark wasn't Catholic, St. John wasn't Catholic... none of them were. The reason people 'pick a bone' with Catholics is (as a recovering one) they are extremely exclusive of other beliefs and feel they have a sole claim to all things Christian.

  • @jim1658 well don't group us all together. i never tell people that my beliefs are the right beliefs. it goes both ways you know. i get a lot of flak for the church i belong to. it seems like it's ok to be Christian apart of any other church but as soon as i say i'm catholic i can see the judgement written on other peoples faces. i really just don't think it is fair to group a bunch of people as acting like they own Christianity. but i will respect that this is your opinion

  • Nice glass pitcher on the table. BTW: being Catholic has nothing to do with making Jesus the center of your life and has no copyright on salvation. Brought to you by a former Catholic, now Episcopalian. Just keep in mind that Jesus was never a Christian. He was born and died a Jew.

  • @jim1658 I'm a former Episcopalian, now a proud Roman Catholic. Your comments and general snarkiness are one of the reasons I left that dying denomination. BTW, being Catholic means Jesus is the center of your life. You have completely missed the point , but you are so clever to point out the glass pitcher. Go and congratulate yourself .

  • @davyrt Hmm... snarkiness. I like that. Big words are hard to come by.

  • beautiful christian music

  • There is not enough text to describe Gods Love

  • Self-sacrifice, love for others, loving God. Seems it's all covered in this song.

  • Praise God!

  • John Michael your songs inspire me for my vocation to the priesthood! anyway do you have a songs for the vocation to the priesthood? thank you and God bless you!!!

  • @andreytan congratulations

  • Beautiful ♥

  • Praise be The Name of The Lord for ever ! Que Le Nom du Seigneur soit béni à jamais !!!!

  • The Majesty of the "Catholic Mass" is almost beyond words.

  • @atty64 Is the Catholic mass more important than Jesus Himself?

  • @chine62 Jesus is the very reason the Mass takes place...No Jesus...no Mass...No world

  • @chine62 Jesus is the very reason the Mass takes place. All eyes are on Jesus at that very moment. Can you imagine anything else?...No Jesus...no Mass...No world. God is so wonderful!

  • @xcolompapi 2Cor 11:14 warns us about the disguise of Satan. Beware!

  • @chine62 The mass without Jesus is of course empty, but in prayerful supplication, it can be the ultimate expression of faith. Sharing the body & blood of our Lord and Savior is transforming in the right Spirit. I feel both spiritually and physically renewed when I leave the altar. I am Episcopalian, not Catholic & I come from an evangelical background. Unfortunately, I feel that many of my evangelical brethren have lost the true meaning of the Lords Supper - the intimacy with Christ himself

  • @chine62 The catholic mass celebrates Jesus. you can not separate one from the other.

  • @oneofseven100 The Catholic mass is a suspicious ceremony that was never practised by the disciples; the very ones that carried on from where Jesus stopped.

  • @chine62 the original mass was the last supper, and the apostles did practice a very smiler form of the mass, very soon after Jesus left them Acts chapter 2 verse 46. (reply back to me on my channel)

  • The Majesty of the Mass and what it represents is almost beyond words.

  • I always liked the hymn and so I clicked on it to hear this version. But wow....

.....just with the guitar and the voice of the person who's speaking along with the dialogue. It's beautiful.

  • BEAUTIFUL PRAYERFUL HYMN.

  • absolutely beautiful song extremely fantastic job done with the sound quality as well, thanks a bunch for putting this song here.

  • This is truly beautiful. Best video ever!!

  • The practice shown here is catholic, not necessarily upper-case C; you would see no different in a Lutheran or Anglican church.

  • @Kenchely With all due respect the Lutheran and Anglican churches do not necessarily hold that the consecrated bread & wine are the Real presence of Christ Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity. For many Protestants these species are symbols only. Also by breaking away from the Catholic church they have cut themselves off from Apostolic succession which Christ inaugurated on Holy Thursday during the Last Supper and which was passed down through His apostles and their successors.

  • Thank you Lord Jesus for this life-giving gift. Thank you John Michael Talbot for the inspiring music. It's a little taste of Heaven.

  • I'm not religous, just a sinner that loves the LORD!!! AMEN.

  • May each of us be enriched by the Real Presence of Christ, and empowered to continue His good work through the instrument of our own bodies by his grace and guidance.

  • @CatholicDads Beautiful prayer.

  • This is beautiful!!! I am so blessed that I am able to partake in this sacrament every day at daily Mass. My sharing in the most holy Eucharist continues to change me in a way I cannot put into words. Thank you God for sending your only Son to us. Thank you Jesus, thank you.

  • An excellent, inspiring video.

  • what is the name of this priest???

  • Hello Brother John

It's been decades since our meeting in Sacramento but I carry the memory of joining together with you & many others in joyful song when "Her flash betrayed her cause"

I lost my friend-like-a-Brother to an aneurysm last Sunday & understand anew how incredibly precious are these short days given for loving.

Oh the regrets, things left unsaid & undone. A painful lesson it is.

John, it was refreshing to find we were so similar in our ideals.

    Thank you for the inspiration!

  • The Bread of Life is his forgiveness, hard won & costing him his earthly body, but a finished work.

The door to eternal life is open so come.

He desires to fill you with His Holy Spirit so you may become a new creation.

New within as His Spirit works within you to change your thoughts, habits and desires, and will give you peace in His completed forgiveness.

Only the Spirit can accomplish these good works.

It is finished, you ARE forgiven.

Believe & receive Eternal Life within.

  • I consider myself an ecumenical Christian. Though I am not RC, I am a fan of John Michael Talbot and the Talbot Brothers for most of my life. This is a very beautiful and may God bless the music minsitry of JMT. From an Orthodox Christian with an ecumenical heart.

  • Beautiful! Thanks for posting this! I've always enjoyed John Michael Talbot's singing--he has such an excellent voice. And this helps renew my love for the Eucharist.

  • Wow, really moving.

  • I just converted to Catholicism... Do you think when Jesus said that "when you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim my death...." He meant only during Passover? This is when He instituted the Eucharist. Or does he mean anytime you drink wine and eat bread? The institution of the Eucharist is obvious... but how often is appropriate?

  • @ZaUkSsKuAz It actually was not Jesus who spoke these words, but rather is found in St. Paul's first epistle to the Church in Corinth (11:26). And how often? As the Church states, as often as you can participate! Any positions of unnecessary hesitation on the reception of the Eucharist are not of God, for as long as you are not in a state of serious sin or alienation He wants you to receive Him in the Eucharist!

  • @ZaUkSsKuAz ANYTIME you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim his death until he comes again. As often as possible is appropriate.

  • I love it , thanks God bless you

  • Thank you Lord, for the gift of the Catholic faith

  • Thanks for posting this video.

  • This is beautiful but I believe you made a mistake. Jesus broke the bread first before he gave the wine. I think it is important that we follow scripture.

Please re do your video and remove this one. Thanks

  • With our teeth we proclaim our faith..... Mysteriously has our Lord called us to ingest his life through the plain elements of earthly life. "For here in the sacrament [Communion] you receive from Christ's lips the forgiveness of sins, which contains and conveys God's grace and Spirit with all his gifts, protection, defense, and power against death and the devil and all evils." Martin Luther

  • wow this is wonderful

  • Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in the Blessed Sacrament, have mercy on us!

  • it is really an eye opener!

  • Oh Lord open our eyes, help us to see what truly takes place on the Holy Alter and we shall be healed...help us to love as you have loved

  • This is so beautiful! Thank you Lord!

  • Out of the father comes jesus, when we accept freely this invitation, were not only reminded of the blessing , but of his suffering. the message here ,and in the garden , and on the cross... love

  • Yes, it's true presence of our Saviour !

  • I'm Christian and I love Jesus

    I have no denomination

I have Jesus oh thank God Jesus is my God my Lord and I love you all

  • Do you have the bread of Life? Read John 6.

Thank you for your beautiful words.

  • I would never trade my Catholic faith for anything!!

  • Same here!

  • @baredd79 I agre 100% I wouldnt even mind being a martyr.

  • @baredd79 We are all one in Christ, Catholic or not! Peace and Love in Christ!!!!

  • @baredd79 I would never exchange my faith for anything, but as to anchoring myself in one religion or another, no thankyou. I think Saint John Michael Talbot has found a way to function in the Spirit in Catholicism but the holy Prophets and Jesus with his disciples worked outside of the established religion more magnificiently than anyone within it. So there is the possibility of even greater spiritual songs from John Michael Talbot and those dearly beloved souls with him.

  • @MegaSage007 a person that does not anchor him/herself is just like a boat that does not anchor itself....it's lead astray wherever the current takes him/her, and not all currents lead to peace, but to destruction. Jesus did not establish that. In love I tell you he established His church on the Rock...Simon, who was appointed to serve as the rock (Cephas/Rock) until the Foundational Rock, Jesus, returns in glory....if religion isn't "organized", it's disorganized.

  • @baredd79 Amen brother!

  • @baredd79 dude, me neither!!!

  • @baredd79 ...it is not about catholic faith...it's about following JESUS!...we must worship the father in Spirit and in Truth...not in flesh or denomination! JESUS IS LORD forever. Amen!...when we get to heaven we wouldn't be divided into denominations, we would be 1 even as the father and Jesus is 1...read John 17 and understand what Jesus said.

  • @chife83 That's why the word Catholic means Universal, it is a not a denomination but a mark of the Church that Christ founded. It is a description to know the true Church of Christ. The Church is 'Catholic' that is it is 'Universal' it is to be taken to all men. The Church is ONE, the Church is HOLY, the Church is CATHOLIC, the Church is APOSTOLIC. These are the marks of Christ's Church. This is how we can separate from false prophets. Pax Christi

  • this makes even a Quaker such as myself desire the sacrament! peace

  • We have Jesus, truly present in every Catholic Church in the Tabernacle. Visit Him and be in His Presence. Your Life will be transformed!

  • "whoever eats my body and drinks my blood will have everlasting life"

  • @boomac62 Become a catholic then! not only is this one of the beautiful sacraments, there are many other beautiful ones!

  • @boomac62 I love Quakers they did a lot for Catholics and they are a gift from God!!!!!

  • @mikewarmblood William Penn, a Quaker and true man of God, allowed the Catholic Church in Philadelphia to flourish even though he didn't agree with the Doctrines. God love the Quakers for the faith and good work they did and do;. A Catholic friend

  • I do have this song on my records but not this version.

  • This is so inspiring. Praise God!

  • I love the video and the song was so great

  • I cried through this entire video

  • Thanks , this song is so heavenly

  • John Michael has one of the most beautiful tenor voices ever heard!

  • Jesus is the bread that keeps us alive

  • This video beautifully depicts the continuity of the Mass/Divine Liturgy from The Last Supper to today, and throughout eternity. Jesus, our High Priest, continually offers Himself to the Father for our sins, and continually offers Himself to us in His Body and Blood for our nourishment through His priests, in persona Christi. Thank you, and God bless you!

  • I love this song, and his other "I am the vine!!"
