  • dude, you are awsome. just discovered the Mere Mortals channel.. you need more EXPOSURE ! advertise yourself or something. both funny AND coherent (i'm a 25 yo graphic design student, from israel. a really REALLY amature wood-worker and general craft hobbiest). if you ever need something done graphically let me know, i will support your operation for free!

  • What kind of nitwit watches woodworking video's and dislikes this one in particular and what is it that was objected to? I' ve watched many of Steve's videos and they are easy to follow. I disagree with him when he says that he is not a professional, just a hobbyist. He is to good to be just a hobbyist.

  • I started with Harbor freight, pawn shop finds, want ads, and whatnot, then replace as I can. I inherited a few things like a table saw, bought a joiner and band saw at harbor freight, found a router table and an air compressor at garage sales ($30 each)

  • ilove2boogi92... let me give you a tip...if you start a wood shop and you wanna start to buy tools, I recomend you start with good tools, at least Craftsman, well that my poor opinion. I start mine and I spend around $3,000.00 Dlls.
