I pretty much have the same set up as you i got a p75 head p3f pistons :/ then the ls ys1 tranny running on a tuned ls ecu it runs nice i was neck and neck with my homies type-s runnin on 3 cylinders i just rebuilt the short block im waiting for the gaskets so we can put it back together and get it running RIGHT!
@curtliz08 i got the cable ys1 tranny from a DA which has shorter gears than the hydro LS tranny from a DC... there's a vid of a b20 with b16 tranny pulling on a type-s search "b20 vs rsx" so if you wanna pull on your buddys type-s just grab a b16 tranny

Yeah See i got the same setup as you dawg that ys1 is a Decent tranny for pullin and cruising tho I smoked an v6 eclipse and a Blue si civic at the same time all 3 of us pulled at the light I left them niggas gone cause people always forget just cause the B20b has 126hp ITs still 2.0 Liters not 1.8 1.7 nor 1,6 so it has the jump no matter what
@curtliz08 yea man b20b only has 126hp in a CRV with the restrictive crv intake manifold, exhaust manifold & ecu.... as soon as you slap an an LS intake maniffold and a header the b20 off the bat with an LS ecu will make 150hp to the crank... thats why there are so many vids on youtube of b20s pulling on gsrs cuz with a tune and boltons a b20 will make the same power as a gsr but with more torque

@andyscoupe i believe elevation was @ 0 ft... yeah gsr trans makes a nice diff, my b20 w/ ls trans ran a 15.2 (this was before i got it chipped with a p06 ecu), i'm hoping once i slap my gsr tranny on i'll be high 14s
@andyscoupe nice, p8r head means you got the high compression b20... get it chipped and it will pull hard, my buddy has a b20 with a gsr tranny running 14.7 in his ej civic coupe... search "jdm b20" and you'll see his track vid

@andyscoupe just build it right... use an intake manifold and throttle body from a b18b (60mm) - do you know if yours is the low compression or high compression b20? also get it tuned or chipped for a b20 that makes a big difference over using a stock LS ecu.. LS tranny isnt gonna help you, i'd look for a gsr tranny or a b16 tranny.... and if you've got the money, cams.... with aggressive cams you'll smoke any gsr no problem
@andyscoupe it was my only option too lol, although i have gsr tranny i'm waiting to throw on.. for the price i love the b20.. with a proper tune you can make more power than a gsr motor for half the price... most b20s with boltons & and tune make around 140-150whp.. there' s a video of a green dc making 163whp with just cams and a tune on a stock b20.. considering 160 to the wheels is like 180 to the crank that's beastly for a non-vtec motor

@andyscoupe stock canadian cluster... LS tranny is brutal especially if its from a DC, the gears are even longer than the LS tranny from a DA... i would source another tranny before putting your build together unless you plan on boost
