  • I found it way too sweet and the onions should have been strained off as their work was done and it only spoilt the presentation.

  • As soon as I see a non stick pan, I'm over it...you can't make a great sauce unless you deglaze from a stainless pan and get all the great renderings from the meat in the sauce.

  • @mrpicky510 Sorry that you are so wrong mrpicky510… It's not a non-stick pan, nor were we doing any de-glazing of meat renderings.

    Perhaps you should watch the video, and understand the recipe before passing judgment?

  • Odd, I tried making a red wine sauce a few days ago and came up with basically the same recipe. This time I'll try copying you - somewhat.

  • could you puree the red wine sauce in a blender or such if you didnt want all the chunky bits in it? would it lose any of its flavor doing this?
