If you need to re-install Windows try ReactOS, or one of the many Windows-clones/alternatives. If you just dual-boot like me and use Ubuntu for everything except running (direct-x) Windows games you'll never get the system cluttered or full of viruses..
Money on what, free operating systems? The game & online package is free too on my page. Maybe you mean a new hard-drive to back up your old stuff before formatting. Word of advice, if you already got a dual core that's good enough for a modern rig in most cases. And you should build a new one your own to save money (more fun too). But as you said get online when you can, won't be lots of players again until November 2010.
@NerfArena1999 i still need money for a new computer not just a new hardrive. ive keep this thing going for almost 13 years so straining it potential is not a good idea. ive been searching fot some part and i have made a decent rig that can run this with no problem. oh and um, IVE HAD THE GAME SINCE IT CAME OUT! i dont need to download the game. just the online pakage
