Sure it would be nice, but Ottawa, Edmonton, Calgary are still a ways off from there (and probably due for an NASL club to start), after NASL, this league, the CSL, has managed to outperform the PDL as the best lower level league for Canadians. The problem for Canada is that as much 35 million people might seem a little small, 6 good teams still won't cut it which is why this lower tiered infrastructure were watching is so important.

Maybe if Canada host the 2026 FIFA World Cup then they'll have the football/soccer infrastructure
