  • YouTube should be able to create infinite replay loops so I don't need to keep hitting the button.

  • You know... I always did feel like he was my friend.

  • This was referenced on Blockbusters a lot.

  • WHERS THE LOVE BUTTON ON THIS THING

  • Amazingly enough this was the song played by the bagpipers at Lou's funeral on "Rescue Me" series finale.

  • AHAAAHAAAAHAAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAHAAH OOOH WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE

  • 11 people did not look out for that tree

  • I never saw the show, but I remember that I would always see this song on TV

  • dam those trees

  • haha me and my friends used 2 take the piss out of this song..not in a bad way but just singin it and stuff :P

  • oh god, i remember singing this song every now and then when i was a kid.

  • I remember watching this show every Sunday morning before church. *sigh* I miss those days

  • hÏhi_ãÑYôÑË_wânñÀ_chât_wIth_mÉ_ì_fÉËl_sÔ_lønëly_tÓdàý♫

  • sound like he got rape-LOL

  • lmfao xD this song never gets old ;D

  • Nice! I like the film really! // Ursula is the girl, who's in the End George's wife. But I also don't know any Fella in the film. And I don't know, that George calls she 'Fella'!?

  • GOOD TIMES!

  • I like george of the jungle but when he screams he sounds like he dropped the soap in prison and is getting raped in the a*$

  • This version and the first movie was good. Unlike that crappy new cartoon that aired on Cartoon Network.

  • Muahahahahaha I'm addicted to this! It's crazy XD

  • I always thought it was BELLA and Ursula. Can't remember which episode made me realize it's FELLA.

  • "Then away he'll schlep on his elephant Shep" LOL can you imagine a Jewish tarzan? "Oy! - What is it with all the trees and the plants around here"

  • @tryandlisten LOL! That's funny!!!

  • the words are an eight foot ape.....

  • @tygerprince you're wrong dude, this guy is right, its 'an ape named ape'

  • I disagree...if you look at the intro...there are identical women....fella is ursulas twin.....

  • dude i so remember this cartoon. this era was the best.

  • The composer of the song was Stan Worth and i believe that Ursela was his daughter. about 5 at the time.

  • 0:00-0:05, I didn't know George was an Olympic Athlete!

  • Ursula to you to, Fella! Get it?

  • Catchy!

  • I would watch this with my family as a kid, and my dad would do the Tookie Tookie bird impression perfectly as well as the tarzan yell. Good times. What's even greater is that the library still has the tapes!

  • WATCH OUT FOR THAT! CRASH! Ohhh! Never mind

  • What is the cartoon where the character lived in the zoo but went on excursions? I've always remembered the song (kind of like a swamp) but can't remember the character. I thought it was Wally Gator, but don't think so now.

  • Tennessee Tuxedo and his Tales

  • @JanetUSA that may have been the "hair bear bunch". It was the "wonderland" zoo i think, that serial was from about 1973. The plot was somewhat similar to "tennessee tuxedo" and chumwey from total television circa 1964

  • @JanetUSA Tennessee Tuxedo and Wally Gator both used that premise. Wally used to just get into stuff, but Tennessee and Chumley would seek out Phineas J. Whoopee to learn about how to do stuff, then they'd try it themselves and screw it up.

  • Another childhood memory....sigh.. thanks for puttin this on....

  • Who's Fella and Ursula? I only remember one girl in the cartoon. Can anyone explain that???

  • Ursula is George's wife and he usually calls her Fella cuz he is stupid.

  • @DisneyVillain buton the cartoon its ursula the city girl and magnolia the fasionista

  • @DisneyVillain

George of the jungle not stupid.

    George of the jungle, artist.

He got degree from Cal Arts.

  • @DisneyVillain the whole Fella thing came about because George tended to see double from hitting his head. Hence why Fella and Ursula stay in step.

  • Since the original cartoon was from the 60's it wasn't excactly politicaly correct.. George had suffered brain damage from hitting his head so many times from swinging into trees. In the original intro it shows Ursala and Fella dancing...because George sufferes from double vision...he thought he had two wives.

  • @DisneyVillain actually Fella is his wife... and Ursula is his friend... :)

  • @cellfone2006 It's really Thelma and Ursula...

  • @cellfone2006 its only Ursula. when he gets hurt he sees double and hence he thinks its fella

  • @cellfone2006 It's Bella, not Fella.

  • @cellfone2006 you can't explain that.

  • @cellfone2006 it's actually Bombella & ursula, and they are the girl- george is just a bit thick

  • After slamming into trees for so many years, he was in the habit of seeing double. He thought there were two of them.

  • During the original beginning there was a five second segment showing a car from the nineteen twenties running up a ramp on the side of house, and jumping over, two steam locomotives running into one another at full speed, and a model T Ford driving through a giant pane of glass with someone riding on the hood. They were in b/w and obviously stock footage.

  • @abacab987 abacab is 100% correct, i remember it like it was yesterday. I'm actually searching for that very segment from the intro. fella and ursula were one and the same, george's woman. if anyone knows where this footage segment resides, please do clue me in..

  • there were only 17 episodes? are you serious?

  • Ack Ack Tookie Tookie!

I say George, ....what did the Ack Ack Tookie Tookie bird have to say?

Ack Ack Tookie Tookie bird say he no like new George of Jungle!

But live action movie not bad....

    .... same announcer!

Watch out for that...... CRASH! .....TREE!

  • The tookie tookie bird was a spoof on LASSIE.

The bird would find george, say Ah Ah EE EE Tookie Tookie.

And then George would explain the complex message or instructions that he meant to the audience.

Just like lassie. It was a hilarious dig and a totally inside joke.

  • Now this is the George I remember

  • 66.666 people

    watch this video

  • loll

  • the desperation in those Tarzan yells - ROTFL!!!

  • Disney has been over since the sixties. Now the corporation is run by business men. Parasites robbing old cartoons for their profit and probably not paying any royalities

  • YES The orginal George of the Jungle cartoon the best...better then that Disney re-make which is just no good.

  • Not to mention that God-awful Canadian remake that apperantly Cartoon Network greenlighted. Ugh!

  • it is the demon simply known as... george of the jungle

  • This is the first to show a jungle man hitting trees when swinging from vines.

    BRILLIANT ! ! !

The jokes and puns were great.

  • Man. The first movie is just awesome and hillarious but the second one sucks :(

  • 2nd does not suck, just for younger kids. i thought it was kinda cool.

  • watch out for that tree!!!!!!!!

  • awesome!

  • Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know i'm wrong. (excuse me while I go wash the egg off my face)

  • The gorilla's name is Ape, not Abe.

  • BELLA! BELLA! Bella was the name of the other chick george ran around with; NOT FELLA! (Duh)

  • Its not Bella its Fella Come on now this is George where Talking about Knowing his Loveable Stupidty George at times Thought Ursula was a Fella or called her Fella and with him Hitting The Trees No Wonder why he thought there where two of them

I loved George of the jungle as a Kid!!!

  • ahhhhhhh

  • Now this original theme song WAS THE BEST !!! . . . and it f*cking rocked !!!!!!!!!!!

  • George of the jungle was the first and only jungle man to always hit trees when swinging from vines, brilliant !!! That cartoon was so clever in a lot of ways.
