  • I'm sorry for commenting so often! But I love your music soooo much!

  • way toooo good

  • Do you have the chord ?

  • Anybody else see those extra fingers he sprouted?

  • I played this song while playing poker with my buddies one night while having some beers. Fun times.

  • Absolutely fantastic, as always. Wonderful arrangement, professional playing.

  • I love the feel of this piece, and I was wondering if you would give a listen to "K.K. Ragtime" from Animal Crossing (US, 'Animal Forest' JP). It is very much this style and for a tuning, I think it sounds best in standard, capo 5.

    Thanks!

  • beautiful...(:

  • Awesome Video lonlon!, I wish I could watch a video of you performing outside the museum since I live in England and have no way of seeing you perform live! :(

  • i lived in England for three years in Purly, Surry, and worked in the City of London, heppyyppeh ^-^ ... absolutely nothing to do with music industry though xD

i sometimes played my guitar around the St. Paul cathedral, really.

That's why i can write some English :)

    cheers

    lon

  • oh man!, damn youtube for not letting me find your existence soonerrrr!!!!. I would have definatly travelled to London to see you perform!. What actually is your job, I know youre an office worker but what is it your company does? just curious hehe

  • Fantastic!

  • Wow! This is absolutely brilliant! I had just finished arranging this myself on Sibelius - for a big orchestra, mind, but this is much harder by comparison. Trying to get all the parts on one instruments. It's easy to arrange it for piano because of the two hands (though I hesitate to say that in the potential presence of youtube's piano virtuousos ^^; ) but on guitar... That sounds like a real challenge. Kudos to you and keep making these videos, they make me smile. :)

  • Thanks watching my video ^0^

  • Man play video game songs on street corners, you'll get recognition quick with your skills

  • i play the guitar in front of the Ghibli Museum in Tokyo almost every weekend ^-^

  • Play in as many places as you can! Make yourself known on the streets, and you'll definitely be signed quickly! :D

  • i went there 2 years ago but sadly you were not there O_O

i wish i could have offered you a nice beer and some chat! if i'll get back to tokyo again i'd love to meet you!

  • Thanks very much indeed for a pint of beer on you, azidahaka2 ^-^

    cheers

    lon

  • Actually, when i listen to the old FF music (FFI - FFVI), its great and better than the newest FF (FFXII, ...) I never played this game, but i like this. The new FF isn't to great after all, I prefer the old one

Lonlonjp, i can't believe you arrange all the song by yourself.

BTW Why did you stop play guitar for 20 years?

    Your talent never gone

    Keep playing :)

  • Good question... lol

When i was 18 year-old, i fully realized that i could not make a living from my music works and gave it up completely.

Then i chose to attend a Japanese university, majoring in finance and economy, instead of entering Royal Academy of Music, London, from which my guitar teacher graduated on top.

  • Well you haven't lost any talent!

And now 20 years later with the internet you have fans all over the world :).

  • Thanks so much for your encourageent ^0^

  • You could easily become the "video game guitarist" as opposed to the video game pianist Leung! oh wait... you already are!! :D

  • haha... not really xD

but i appreciate your comment =)

  • i must know! do you play in a band or something?

if not ... you can earn real money with doing that like a year, if youre lucky you never have to work again

  • No ^-^ i am an ordinary office worker.

i have not earned a penny from my music works =) it seems i am not so lukey... lol

but i am happy to be here with many friends on YouTube =D

  • O.O i always thought you were in an awesome band :P

oh well friends on youtube is also good :D

  • lonlonjp i think that u r one of the best guitar players ever if not the best...could u please do kids run through the city next if possible...pleaseeeee!!!!! lol

  • Thanks watching this video ^-^

i will think about your suggestion later... not now.

Please enjoy your school and study more :) xD

  • you should tab it out! i love this

  • Thanks listening^^

i wrote a guitar sheet music with notes of this song already by my hand-writing... not on website because of my deep respect to composer and copyright issues.

  • Wow what a fun song, it makes me smile ^_^. Really just perfect!

  • Thanks listening^^

  • Flawless performance. Amazed by the port of the piano version to guitar. You're very talented and by all means, polished down to the tip of your fingers. Keep up the exellent music!

  • Thanks posting your nice comment on this video^^

  • Oh, god. I watched most of your videos, but this one gets the cake. You have incredible talent. A pure genius.

  • Thanks encouraging me^^

  • Sorry, dear friend, that a response took so long. My other half had 4 days off from the Navy so we spent as much time together as possible.^_^

Wonderful fingering and the tones are so close to the actual game tones that they are to near indistinguishable. Amazing job, especially at 1:42. Love it! Thank you so much for your time and thank your family for me for letting us steal you away so often.

    ~ShaolinExile

  • Thanks SholinExile, my friend for your kind understanding... :)

  • Hi! KeunT4e.

Acutually i am too busy to play the guitar often. In the morning 10 minutes, in the very late evening 30 minutes or so. My wife surely(already?) got mad if i plays the guitar more than that... (^-^;). I use most of my free time replying lovely comments on YouTube... :) ahahaha...

  • lonlonjp - Our school year is almost over... the other problem is we don't teach guitar during the school day. We do, however, have mariachi but that's a different style of playing than classical. BTW - You do a great job!!! I teach elementary instrumental music, but mostly wind (band) instruments for students who will eventually join the HS marching bands in town. Once again, great job on all your arrangements!

    AM

  • Thanks misterdoof for your information... :)

i admire your teaching methods. i envy your students. Please send my kind regards to your students.

    With respect

  • FFVI!!!! It sounds so nice on guitar! Thank you for the video. I don't know if this is the right place, but my suggestions for FFVI songs are:

    - Searching for Friends

    - Relm

    - Epitaph

    - Kids Run Through the City

    - Dancing Mad, if it's even possible, in four parts (I really don't know if it's possible to do it)

Of course these are just suggestions.

  • Good suggestions.

i cannot do it in a day so i took note... :)

Anyway "Kids Run" has already covered by my friend musician, Kabukibear83.
