  • Raggae Jazz fusion.. where have you been all my life? :)

  • I just converted a copy also ... wink, wink!!

  • yepa it 's so good!

  • Thirty seconds in, listen to how the B-3 stops chopping and lays down some nice chords. I bought this when it first came out and I still listen to it . Also check out #3 on the album... soulful strut

  • Being from Jamaica he has an authentic feel of the culture and though this is done with with jazz melodies you can still feel the "feel". Jaaaahhh Rastafari-i-i-i

  • great but i miss singing

  • PART 2: I didn't have a clue about "jazz" and I guess I still don't, for I love Monty best when he actually sticks to his beautiful renditions of a simple song or tune before wandering off into his impro spheres. Alas, in '84 at l'Abri I didn't know WHOSE hand I shook and WHO actually was speaking so humbly to me then about his origins, his music, his style of clothing,...I have treasured that encounter since. Guess it ain't an easy life to be a genius. Long and happy life to thee, Monty.

  • PART 1: I remember shaking Monty's hand way back in 1984 in Huemoz, Switzerland, when he, a God fearing man, was having time out at L'Abri Christian Fellowship Centre in between two concerts at the Montreux Jazz Festival. That's where we first and last saw his late wife. He performed a most simple, yet unbelievably beautiful version in C major of "Moon River" for us on an absolutely beat up ramshackle piano and the audience had tears in their eyes.

  • Im listening to this song is again.

    Brings me to another World

That is different and much better.

I want to hug the computer.

    After it finishes

I think i will listen to Stand Alone.
