@spikeman316 Go and attend real Karate training. Do you really think you are able to fly after two weeks or do spectacular giant kicks? Well, Karate is about focusing and going your way and I don't think there are any movies which transfered both entertainment and the Karate spirit better than the first three Karate Kid movies. The techniques Mr. Miyagi did seem to be easy and not impressive, but yeah, start doing Goju Ryu and you'll see how much training it needs.
@evilwillhunting Well, Mr. Miyagi did get hit once on the second film by Chozen with the back of a spear which was because Mr. Miyagi had his back turned.
Ok, and Silver was giving Daniel shit about an "unacceptable ki in this dojo?" This is so gay even Andy Dick would lower his guard and say, "Dude, ger serious. Are we gonna do this or not?"
@ooOmegaSupremeoo Interesting view. I thought Terry Silver's whole method was to deceive Daniel-san and turn him into his own worst enemy - to take the path of revenge "start dig two grave" as Miagi commented in KK1. Have you actually watched the film??
Many critics said horrible things about this film but I totally disagree. Karate Kid 3 was as great as previous two films. Ralph macchio and Pat Morita were brilliant as always. Plus it was interesting to see Robyn Lively here. Her film "Teen Witch" was released the same year. She is my favorite Macchio's screen girlfriend in this franchise. Thomas Ian Griffith, Martin Kove and Sean Kanan were great bad guys but I still expected better final scene - not just one punch from LaRusso
this is like yoda vs darth vader.

At least Silver was better than Kresse though- he at least pushed Miaygi to come up with better goods.

@Sturmtreiben U mad? I love Karate Kid I & II but the Part II was the worst...come on!
I studied Karate when I was a Kid (LoL) and I dont have to be an expert to say that this choreography fight sucks!

@spikeman316 Woarrrr. It's way more realistic than most other films.

No matter who Daniel is squaring off against, Mr. Miyagi defeats them handily. I mean he never even gets hit.
Thanks Goodness Chuck Norris didn't take the role as John Kreese. The whole "Chuck Norris Facts" thing woulda never happened.
evilwillhunting 4 months ago
@evilwillhunting Chuck Norris turned down the role as Kreese because he said "no karate student of mine would ever lose to anyone." :)

A better sequel than KK2 was. I loved all the double-play and secrecy in this.

@aaronfromhastings
Bullshit! This movie was crap. KK2 was a much better sequel. There was no "double-play" or "secrecy" to this movie, only garbage.
