These operations should be banned. Not only does the patient sometimes suffer from quite a bit of pain after them (which can last years and discourage her from ever going for a mammography) but most often the patients can't afford MRI's either so they will never get one and the cancer will likely return putting the patient through the entire brutal process a second time. It's best to simply have the mastectomy done and remove the patient from extremely painful butchery yet a second time.
