I have been to the Sharonville gun shows many times. Almost all of the "out of state" tags are from Kentucky. Sharonville is a suburb of Cincinnati which is on the Ohio/Kentucky border. I guarantee there are thousands of Ohio residents around Cincinnati riding in cars with Kentucky tags right now. "Out of state" is a misleading characterization being as Sharonville is a 10 minute drive from both Kentucky and Indiana (where other tags shown were from). Could be travelling knife collectors too
yes,. I also am , delayed from an ffl, but, delayed, which means the same? and cant seem to appeal this delaying . I meet all requirements, so, thankful for gun shows,. yes,.
A real progressive would demand the government enforce the current laws on the books and allow those denied a full disclosure instead of a dead end appeal process in place of just pushing a ban on private non-licensed sales. It's this kind of nonsense that gives progressives a bad name. Why do most liberals never learn to leave gun control alone?
Every time I purchase a firearm through a show I then attempt to buy one through a licensed ffl dealer, I am denied, and with my appeal form I send in a pic and the info of my new gun I already bought at the show, I have to wonder what they think of that. Gun control is about limiting personal power and it's not a true part of being progressive.
It's funny how this all started right after 9/11 and after the assault ban was overturned, and the most ironic thing is a republican administration made it more tougher to buy a firearm than any past democratic one. After many appeals they still cannot tell me why I'm being denied nor have my correct info on file, yet my local sheriff has no trouble issuing me my "permit to purchase" every year for the last 16 years!
I consider myself a progressive on most issues but I am not in favor of closing this "loophole" because the current background check system our government uses is severely flawed and bias, and I have experienced this firsthand. I have ZERO factors why I should be denied and I have been denied for the last 9 years even though I have bought over a dozen firearms before this started, thankfully for the past 9 years these very gun shows and one day gun ads on craigslist have allowed me this right.
Actually going to a Bill Goodman show this weekend..
When I went to the one last year, they were very strict with their background checks (in TN mind you).
Hard to tell from this video if they were coming to this event or another.. and who says if they actually bought anything.. a lot of possibilities.
But being a gun loving 10ther who adores the constitution, I agree that there should be no selling of fire arms across state lines like this.. loopholes are wrong.
