Yeah, he was. There's a kind of ambiguity to keep up the tension, but at the beginning n end it's made clear. He wanted to 'hook up' knowing she was underage, he had pictures of underage girls he kept n we find out that he at least was party to murder (n likely rape) of another girl who died. You can make up ur own mind if he did worse wen u c his reaction wen Hayley tells him tht 'Aaron' (Jeff says HE killed her whilst Jeff just wanted photograph) admitted that Jeff killed the girl.

@LoneGabriel It becomes clear he is when she finds the photos and says 'this is sick' and how it's against the law and he's crying. Also she has the photo of the missing girl and says 'why does she get to keep her clothes'. Plus when she has him tied down he admits 'I crossed a line'

Watch it again. I'm amazed how many people think she actually carried through her threat. The movie makes it pretty clear that she didn't do it- Jeff running around after her should have given you a hint that he was fine. Further, his look of relief and saying "I'm all here" should have made it obvious.

That girl belongs on death row. Home invasion, assault, murder, terrorist actions, and these are her best qualities. Insanity runs a distant second. She was 17 when she made this movie. It was filmed in the summer of 2004. She was born in Feb. 1987. Do the math.
It was filmed in 2004, debuted on the film festival circuit in early 2005, but was not released in theaters until April 2006 which is why people alway assume Page is older than she was when she made this!
