  • Well done CGI; but the lack of decreasing speed on the ball is the biggest giveaway, even assuming a ball can be hit to a postage stamp-size area 20 straight times.

  • Jeez - To think that some of you think this is real is beyond comprehension.

  • look at the pile of balls - it doesn't get smaller when they pick a new one up - also both balls go the exact same speed and land in the exact same spot every time

  • riiiiight not one foul bs.

  • People it's not fake it's real the guy actually did it

  • No shit its fake people ... no need to continually post the same thing that 9019581 other people are did. You would have to be fully delusional to think this was even remotely possible.

  • LOLz

    sorry but fake!!!

  • its fake, but its still pretty cool

  • Impressive!

  • marry me. <3

  • wish i could do that

  • All you guys are stupid its real its called skills what's so hard about learning? Hes not swinging at pro speeds so its normal speed retards not going 88+ mph

  • @sevas1224 Its true, this isnt fake, people just try and stab at other peoples accomplishments since they cant do anything this amazing. This is some ridiculous skill, but its not impossible.

  • i know learn that it is fake :(

  • @4ninjablood4 Right it's not going at 80 mph, but it would need to go faster for the ball to maintain enought energy off one of those pitch backs. The easist skewer of this fake is the ball is moving too fast comming to the plate to be real. Even if the ball came off his bat at 80 mph and the pitchbacks returned 80% of the energy which they don't, the ball would only be traveling at 32 mph off of the final pitch back. This ball is clearly not loosing enough energy.

  • Its called swinging without a ball and adding the sounds and visuals after....ball trajectory/velocity is way off

  • @heydre1 I'm actually not too sure about it being a fake. If you listen very carefully (put in some very good quality ear buds or something, no ambient/background noise), you can hear that the contact of the bat and balls has differences in pitch every time he swings. Plus, if he practiced enough, he would be able to develop a muscle memory that enables him to hit it at the same spot every single time.

  • @heydre1 I take back my first sentence - even with the points I've made, I still lean towards it being fake.

  • @Natesmitguitar

The last two hits are matched and the others sound exactly the same.... also consider, from this angle, it appears that two of the pitchbacks are asymmetrically placed and all aren't angled the same vertically.

  • @heydre1 About the physics, you are right. I still think there are differences sound-wise between pitches. I also think that I'm arguing for the sake of arguing and you're more likely to be right, so I concede :D haha. Take care, heydre1!

  • i love baseball and yes i play softball........love it!!!!!!

  • OMG! this is amazing!

  • youre a fucking pile

  • Oh, and wow, this isn't even this kid's video. He just stole it straight up off of someone else...

  • His stance is so irregular half the time, especially when he is hitting two of them, that there would be no way he could time it to go in the exact same spot in the first place. And then with two balls, forget it, he doesn't even set up. Even all-star batters miss pitches every once in a while. And of course there is all the other stuff people have already said.

  • @betomores10 drugs are bad for you my friend.... almost as bad as your spelling...

  • So, you think this is funny... god... u most be a devil whit women...

Bunch of clowns, i hope i can spite in your face when your dead, mother fucker...

  • FAKE... but nice FX work

  • SO REAL

  • I'm calling it real. Listen to it and look at the reactions. You'd have to be one heck of an actor to fake those reactions.

  • GAY AND FAKE

  • @blown22 good one bro. original and edgy. never seen that comment before

  • No way. That's the truth he's telling...

  • If it's real, it's awesome and he is super talented. If it is fake they've got good computer skills and it's still impressive to me!

  • Anyone who thinks that this is actually real is retarded and a disgrace to society.

  • Everyone here is just COMPLAINING BECAUSE YOU CANT DO THIS SO JUST SHUT UP YOUR JUST JELLOUS!!!!!!

  • No doubt this is fake.

  • @acashus it's people like you that should refrain from commenting on videos in general. you're a fuckin' dumbass.

  • watch the balls he hits to the outfield, they disappear in the air, no downward flight. You should be able to see them against the tree background. This is like a golf simulator, the only real pitchback is the one on the firstbase side

  • haha cool cgi.. def fake, the guy in the black shirt doesn't follow any of the baseballs with his head... any normal person would...

  • @okimarobot If you were standing there you would def be looking for a baseball to come at your head because of a missed angle...

  • Faker than hell!!! CGI, LOL

  • fake

  • there are no shadows on the infield from the balls being hit

  • @nobodysfault2006 yes there are, watch the ground infront of him just before he hits it.

  • 8 people are jealous that they can't do this. Stop Hatin bitches!

  • good idea, but too much stuff tells you it's fake. Angle of the nets, speed of the balls coming off the nets and oh...yeah...IT IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE TO HIT 18 FUCKING BASEBALLS IN THE SAME FUCKING SPOT WITH THE SAME FUCKING SPEED! Other than that, it's pretty cool. I give the creators some credit for getting the timing of everything down to create this thing in post.

  • @rneu0324 I agree would you! Definitely impressive effects by the producers, but anyone who plays baseball or knows physics would also agree with you. Each net couldn't be spaced evenly. As each ball would hit the net it would slow down. Each net would be closer to the previous because the ball would loose speed. If you threw a 100mph throw into the first screen, it wouldn't bounce into the second at 100mph. It would continuously loose speed in the air and off the rebound. These ball rifle back

  • The guy on the right's head doesn't follow the ball.

  • @acashus so ive refrained from saying anything until now, but really? thats your argument? clearly the last two were suppose to go up. I will not give away the secret here, but my friend it appears that you have an IQ of 7... maybe 8

  • @hammond2429 I know this was a while ago. But I think the "secret" he is referring to here, and I could be completely off-base, is that there would be a visible shadow under the balls. Look at the batter, he casts a shadow very close to underneath him, meaning the sun is high in the sky. Therefore, each of the balls, as it were flying, would cast a shadow nearly below it.

  • @Encryptomaniac Lol you can see the shadow dude. Look when it's coming back right near him.

  • So fake!!! Put it on full screen and watch!! the last 2 balls go up! FAKE FAKE FAKE!

  • @acashus1 No shit they go up, that's how he ends it. Derp!

  • @acashus1 I agree that it's fake but those last two balls go up because he hits them over the nets. Notice they don't come back?

  • I see the shadow of the ball going from the bat to the 1st target. As improbable as it seems, it is real.

  • @howiedome Yeah, because shadows can't be digitally added makes it real. It's fake.

  • @howiedome it's not real idiot.

  • so fake. If you have ever used a pitchback, it's hard enough to get the ball to come back when you are throwing it. If off in the slightest, it comes back low, high, to the right or left. You have to hit approx 2' x2' square. Multiply a small error on the first (even if he did hit it with a batted ball) by 4 pitchbacks and it's impossible to do even once. 50$ says he couldnt even hit the 3rd pitchback after 50 tries.

  • This is real, he could've gone on for hours but just got bored.

  • I can't believe u idiots are spending so much time trying to convince yourself that it's real

  • This is so fake

  • Looks real to me. I will address the "shadows" only issue. As the video starts, it appears to me that ea shadow is approx perpendicular to 1st baseline. The baseballs seem to be the same. Later, the pitcher is leaning toward left field while the batter is crouch and leaning the opposite way, thereby distorting the shadows slightly. It appears to mesh to me and I don't think you could edit the pitch to the batter. As to the flight of the ball being the same, that's the point of the exercise.

  • @TheHankster88 it was on espn its fake just like the lebron video && david beckham

  • @SubscribeXtoXAll 67 degree's, dumbass

  • Has anyone considered this, he may be an Alpha! Somebody call Dr. Rosen.

  • by the way, i'm not saying that's what these guys did here. i don't even know how feasible it would be. i just had to keep hope alive, because it would be pretty awesome if this was real :)

  • in regards to the balls having very similar flight paths, consider this. if the pitch-back surfaces being used were slightly concave, they could theoretically be used to correct some initial variation in the ball's trajectory by placing the center of each pitch-back surface at the focal point of the previous pitch-back. it should "focus" the ball toward the center of the next surface (just like a concave mirror focuses light from all direction to a focal point).

  • FAKE AND GAY...

  • Look at the shadows. The batter has a 11 o clock shadow whereas the ballboy has a 10 o clock shadow as though there were two sources of light coming from different directions. The rebounders have little to no shadows extending in the same direction as the two guys. The shadows on the rebounders at the base appear to be extending in the wrong direction indicating the light is coming from a different direction. The balls on the ground also have shadows extending to 9 o clock.

  • that is sick

  • If this is real he's be on Leno or Letterman before too long!

  • Look dead center screen. Now look slightly to the right and you'll see a whiteish, yellowish building. Watch that building as the video plays. You'll notice that every single time the baseball crosses in front of the building it has the exact same placement and the exact same angle. The chances of that happening would be next to null because even the slightest gust of wind would alter it.

If you could actually hit a ball with that much precision I suspect we'd see more toothless pitchers.

  • Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short, Line out to short....

Fly out to left, Fly out to left...

    FAKE!!

  • it looks so damn real...but i just cant beleive it...noway anyone can have that same exact result that many times

  • So cool, but woulda been so much better if they muted the guy filming it.

  • Fake.

  • its real ive done it before

  • Imposible but fun to watch!

  • Fun video, but bullshit. :)

  • This simply cannot be done. The physics make it wildly improbable
