My taste in art is not sympathetic to much of what happened in the 20th century. However, Dr. Bronowski articulates a reason to give it a second look. In the end, I have to say it is emotionally unfulfilling (unlike the physics that apparently suggested Cubism). A feast for the intellect alone.
