I think the whole point of the scene missing screens was an homage to what happened to the Closer video after MTV, etc. requested it censored. I don't think the director meant to imply he actually had scenes missing. Trent and the director of Closer felt the deleted scenes ruined the meaning of the video, which was based on a particular visual artist's work, but many thought they made it scarier and more mysterious.
Actually there was film for the enire song, I just cut some images out and replaced them with Romanek's "Scene Missing" cards so I wouldn't disrupt the continuity. My original idea called for a car crash in there but due to limitations we didn't film it. I had thought of coming back to this someday and filling in the holes but I now think it is just a piece of the past.
I see what the OP was going for, but it's pretty obvious that he tried to force his creativity. In trying to make somewhat of a "Hurt' type video, your process has led you to have some pretty creative ideas, but focusing too much in at specific [look how creative this part is] points.Leaving you with obvious 'well I don't know what I'm gonna film for this sentence' hence the overstocked scene missing plugs.
Hope my analysis can help you fix your own faults, because I'm not trying to be critical.
