@geoffjinminn You can get the kefir starter by going to PureJoyPlanet . com and clicking on the cultured foods. I also have a DVD that has more cultured foods like sauerkraut, nut and seed cheeses, coconut kefir and yogurt, rejuvelac.
Hello! what a wonderful demonstration. If I wanted to make a sweeter yogurt, at what point would I add the sweetener? Would I put the sweetener in the blender w/ the coconut meat, or wait until after the milk has fermented or just before serving?Thank you kindly.
@LovedByMeBeautifully I would add the sweetener after it has turned into "yogurt" by just hand mixing in some honey or whatever sweetener you prefer. If you do it before hand the culture will 'eat" the sugar and it won't taste sweet anymore. FYI honey will stop the culture since it is anti bacterial but is great to add after it's made :) Enjoy!!!!
I have been a lover of a new life style that includes healthy food. I watched your video and sincerely I am your fan. Tell me please , do you blend the kefir with the coconut milk ? And how do you keep the kefir ?
@mamanululi76 Keep the kefir/yogurt in the refrigerator for up to 3 months! It will last a long time. You blend the coconut "meat" with the kefir water which you can learn how to make by going to my website which is purejoyplanet . com and clicking on the cultured foods. When you click on the Body Ecology Kefir there are instructions there how to make it. You can also buy my cultured DVD for $10 and it will explain and show everything about how to make it.
great video... I love coconut kefir and yogurt. (I call it coconut cheese since it is similar to cottage cheese) anyway, your videos are delightful, keep sharing the message. real, live food is the best!
