HUndreds of years ago it was commen to have 10 to 15 children. Nature usually did the selection. In many countries you will still find families with 14 kids and more. I kinda doubt that she did pay for 'artificial insemination'. Given the fact that she had 6 kids before this pregnancy, and that she is the sole caretaker... I doubt a doctor would do the procedure on her, even if she had the money for it. So... can only conlude that this was most likely natural - though extremely rare.

The first six were all singeltons, except for one [pregnancy]. She had a twin pregnancy, so actually she had five pregnancies, four with one baby, and one with two, the twins. Then, she had in-vitro again, and had the eight, the octuplets. Now, altogether, she has 14 children but with only six pregnancies.
