@Simon5005 What you present is an inflammatory statement, sir. You would seem to have a view that restricts the tastes and opinions of every citizen of the 3rd-most-populous nation in the world to some simple common denominators. But if this venting and marginalization proves cathartic to you, then I hope you now feel a fulfilling sense of superiority.
@Simon5005 No, you got the personalized treatment. I simply thought that you were inviting someone to an intellectual discussion. And that as an American I resent the label of artistic simpleton- and I enjoyed the video as well. Fischerspooner never ceases to amaze me :)
6:38-6:46 is very reminiscent of David Lynch's Eraserhead, particularly the ambient space sound but also with the slowed, dramatic visuals which reminded me of the unnamed man pulling the levers at the beginning of the film.
it is like male chantuese it's really brilliant. You would not accuse Nico of "not singing" because she has a mostly monotone voice she uses. He has great range but it sounds best in the octove he chooses. Get over the "if it's not rock it sucks" thing.
hate 2 categorise but this is more industrial for the sake of industrial. Yet because of its beat it leans to a pop sensibility that manson & nine inch nails convey in satire. Especially KMFDM...
Only Fischerspooner could do this; get so in touch with pop culture that they come off like be-glammed Manson-on-the-silver-screen, while remaining scenexperimental as anything.
Anyone know where the narration is from? It seems really, really familiar...but it could be that I'm remembering it from the music video...Especially the part were "he" says "In the end it just makes you feel worse, even more alone than before..."
All these "new" techno bands owe a heap of gratitude to Kraftwerk.

Great! But Americans aren't intellectual enough to appreciate this kind of art. All they understand is T & A and humiliation.

On another note this reminds me of Dali, I think if he had been in our age and time he would have totally been all over this.

i think it is nothing more than just the singer speaking rather than singing. the blurs of what anyone can do in art.
