  • wow this is wonderful!

  • Thank you a lot for sharing your nice video!

  • How can these people talk about life respect and equality crap when theyre doin somethin natural. Some people like theyre hair. Make shirts or somethin. U dont have to do somethin crazy to say somethin people whats wrong with u!?. Its plain dumb.

  • Great video thumbs up

  • I've shaved my head for 15 years because my hair barely grows and if I don't shave it it just grows out all weird and stupid looking. Having no hair because you have no choice really sucks. I can never go outside without having a hat (because of sun burn) I bump my head all the time because no hair to warn me and let me draw back. It totally sucks. We'll see if you continue this for 20 years or more. If your concerned about shampoo, why not just go dreadlocks and stop washing it?

  • yes, a point of a life-time commitment is what is 'missing' in this world, but required if we wanna trust ourselves and be trusted with life

this is a symbolic activism campaign -

a visible statement that connects many aspects of what we call life into a one and equal point here

  • Your allowing a minor detail to taint your 'freedom' in being able to enjoy yourself. I suppose you would have rather have been born a teeny-bopper, like most of 'society'. XD

  • no, I just have an appreciation for hair as being one who has none. Look, I live in the tropics, in the sun every day. Having no hair when you are in the sun every day REally Sucks. I can't go out without a hat Period! Think about it!

  • Sun-screen? You should buy Kisuke Urahara's hat. XD

  • I don't use sunscreen. It causes skin cancer. I have a lot of hats.

  • Make a hat video, I'll subscribe if you do. XD

  • Why don't you people use organic shampoos made from all natural ingredients, herbs, or just water? Why even bother shaving it? Why not just let it grow. That's about as "natural" as it gets. It stops eventually, or you can just tie it up in a ball. This is stupid.

  • lol

    why bother wash?

you shave once and you dont have to do it for at least a few weeks.

  • Because then you can support local farms, organic farmers, etc., which is supposed to be part of this 'equality' idea anyway, helping people expand themselves through trading ideas, etc. Just not washing your hair is not enough to make much of a mark in anything, especially since there are only about 300 or so of you doing it.

  • KotLeopold

stupid is to make assumptions without studying the statement of this activist campaign

  • I did. There are so many better ways you can help the environment while supporting people at the same time.

  • What is 'stupid" is judging something you don't understand.

We are making a visual and life-affirming statement. If you are too stupid to research what we're doing, then that's one thing - but if you're against pollution in all its forms, I would suggest you join us in the physical action. Or shut the hell up, one.

And please, dont come back here unless you can state something sensible, "KotLeopold."

  • I do understand it. Understand this. Everythining you use to 'clean' with should thus be elminated. Chemicals you use to clean your teeth and even body are usually by far much more harsh than those in your hair. This applies to clothes washing too. Thus, you should not be washing anything. I support the earth by using it responsibly, IE, through organic products and all natural products made from human hands, not machines.

  • You have a problem with shaving your head - that's the real issue, here. Don't try to divert attention away from your own non-action after you see others doing something more than you are. I mean, you have a lot of nerve comparing what we are doing to what you "believe we should be doing."

We're doing 'something." You can judge that all you want, we're not stopping because of your bullshit philosophizing.

    Using "human hands, not machines?"

Stay off the goddamn internet, then.

  • Actually, my hair is shaved, you just assumed it wasn't. Yes, I use the internet, that's the point, you can't be totally pure unless you go tribal. You can, however, research what you're doing and to more productive avenues. I'm offering constructive thoughts, not philosophizing. If you're going to try to avoid chemicals, go all out or go home. You can't just avoid hair products, you have to include food, mouthwash, everything. Otherwise you'll achieve very, very little.

  • So you say- but maybe you should follow your own advice and stop using the computer since it contains toxic chemical compounds. But we can go at this all night long. The point isn't to "go all the way -especially since you are not going there yourself- it's to begin to change people's awareness. Which is more than what you are doing.

  • You should stop assuming so much. You know, regardless of what you beLIEve, any pure system doesn't need to prove itself. You're everywhere, I've seen you on many forums, etc., always trying to prove something. If it was pure, there would be nothing to prove. Any system speaks best of what it is through the words and actions of its members. You, personally, tend to respond very negatively to any criticism, constructive or not, and this speaks volumes about what your group beLIEves.

  • You're talking loud, but you are not saying anything. And since you can't defend your position in common sense, you want to turn this into a referendum about "my participation on other boards." Well, that's really clever. Too bad you offer nothing constructive in your criticism, only a vague and wimpy nattering about your "iconoclastic revolt of one."

Please. You bring nothing to the table but bitching about some damn thing. Stop boring us.

  • Here's something constructive and obvious for you to read. If you think shaving your head is making a statement that people will care about, forget. Plenty of people do it. The idea of a 'statement' is to make people say 'hey, look over here, what are they doing here, they're trying to tell us something'. You just look like any other vegan, ELF member, or Heaven's Gate member out there. If I wasn't saying anything, you wouldn't respond.

  • "Kot," continue to rest wirthin your irrelevence.

  • And then when you and your group can't make leeway, what you usually do is this, determine the person is 'irrelevant'. Again, you wouldn't be responding if that were the case, and now you're resorting to little taunts and insults because you really have nothing constructive to say. Considering you're one of the big wigs of this group, you say all I need to know. Just offering advice that this movement doesn't look like anything special, so it won't get the attention you desire.

  • We're making "leeway," "Kot." We realize it's going to take generations - hell, LIFETIMES before this fucked up world will get sorted out - which will happen when people finally "get the point" that the ONLY way to live is to do what is best for all. What is YOUR part towards that, "Kot?" You really haven't said, and I would hate to "presume."

In the end, we will work together within the principle of doing what is best for all, as all things are moving towards equality.

  • Good to see you are thinking slowly now. I show people proper life through action. This is far better than any words. Never present what you do as 'right' in any way, merely act. If it is pure, it will be seen for what it is, and people will naturally follow. Do your work and step back. It is the only way, everything will fall into place. You can never force or make direct attempts with such things, it is always doomed to failure if you do.

  • " I show people proper life through action.

    and that would be...

  • Shaving Hair is not exclusively to do to

with the environment. That is only one point. Shaving hair is specific as it removes the 'pretty picture' people hide behind. If all are bald - all are equal in that point. It removes a lot of worries, competitions and judgments. Furthermore, you make a clear statement that you are willing to let go fo self-interest and act for the best of all. And (especially as a girl) - when you're bald, people come and ask questions, which is very cool

  • I can see what you mean. However, the problem is most people will think it's some sort of 'cultist' activity, because this is what they usually do. And they usually give this response. What would be unique would be someone truly not caring how they're perceived so long as they perceive what they are. If you wanted to have your hair long and painted gold, whatever. By what you say, you eventually have to remove everything, including clothing, and make everything neutral. It is inevitable.

  • Some parts of technology is worthy of removal and some parts are worthy to keep. We'll make that decision later thru the principle of what is best for all. You're throwing up a red herring by saying "the logical conclusion is to return to the stone age." Please.

  • Not the stone age. Look at tribal societies. The majority of those still untouched by technology are generally free from all the problems that modern society has, including most diseases. This is the way we all once lived. It's a totally viable option, and the most pure.

  • Ah, the Anarcho-Primitivism pipe dream rears its ugly head.

Well, I've looked at this. And the chief feature that I have found is that ALLl the primitive peoples have been dominated and will soon be absorbed by technology. That a few tribes exist unmolested is only due to the eventuality of wiping them out being seen as "in bad taste." They weren't as "noble" and "pure" as you want to paint them, either, but we can discuss that topic at another time and another place.

  • Also, this brings up an important point you should consider. By shaving, you're affirming that programmed human thoughts, ie beauty/ugliness in this case, cannot be eliminated without removing superficial obstacles. This is not true. Human thinking CAN be reprogrammed without resorting to these things. It's a harder route, but more fruitful in the end. You see the phenomemnon often in people who are born with deformities or gain them through accidents.

  • "Kot," we're saying ALL human thought is programmed, as well as thoughts, memories, beliefs, desires, etc - that is, every single facet of human behavior. Yes, thoughts can be 'reprogrammed" in many ways - as mind control exists on many levels. We're saying that the human mind, deified thru religions and philosophies, has proven unworthy of its exaltation, what with wars, capitalism, atomic bombs, holocausts and human abuse in every form imaginable.

  • @DarrylWThomas

To say that shaving one's head is life afirming statement is pretty ridiculous. I shave my head because I have no choice. Having hair is a good thing. I cannot understand for one minute why you think that by shaving your head, and now you look like me, that your affirming life.

bty, after 20 years, my human body still hasn't adapted. My head still burns all the time without a hat, and I still bump my head more often. It sucks.

  • Vaprose, did you even watch the video? Because your comments indicate you haven't or your attention span is very limited.

  • I did and left a comment on the main video up top. This comment I left was responding to your statement that shaving one's head is life affirming..

  • Again: its a symbolic statement with which to stand visible and noticeable as a group. Yes many people shave their heads, but they're not using that to stand for anything, except the skinheads - but they use it to promote superiority, which is bullshit - so we're redefining the symbol to one of equality - that's why Darryl said it's life affirming, when it's done as an activist statement - like we clearly place our statement

  • fk u i like my hair long

  • sure you do

  • nemesisnick66> this statement is able to be translated into> fuck you, I like my ego

then you'll realize that there will be nothing of your interest here as the point of Equality is being automatically disregarded.

  • nemesisnick66

These videos are for people who are willing to apply themselves into making practical statements - in realising that we are able to change the way we live from being ego driven consumer based into a statement supporting the physical existence in its simplicity.

  • ahahaha

    you are afraid!!!

    you have no courage

guess what, no one cares about your hair and how it looks except you - and you think others care

  • IS AL GORE SHAVING HIS HEAD.

I see he has not stopped using his private jet and hugh watercraft

  • Kate Gosselin's expensive new hairdo The reality star's glamorous new hair extensions took 20 hours to apply and cost a fortune. More than $5000.

  • imagine how much people can be fed with that 5000 dollar.

  • Probably about 15,000. people can have a meal.

I do want to judge...but there's something wrong when someone spends 20 hours on their hair in two days. hair is trivial. imagine how many nails you can pound in a building in 20 hours without hair.

  • thanx

  • Very Cool points

    Very Specific

  • Cool,

another stuff I red about is some shit to clean the skin from dead skin cells. It contains minuscule plastic parts and these are spoiled in the water and eventually end up in fish and so on. Very harmful.

  • Much common sense here and the pictures of all of guys are beautiful, though some of you are missing. Thankyou so much for being the beginning.

  • more pictures will be up soon on the website.

  • What is happening to our waters will be irreversible soon without urgent chnages in how we consume and trash our planet. Shame Poo and many other chemicals are being inserted into our waters, and so, it is time to stop. FaceWorld members will make a visual statement within the Principle of standing for Life, instead of wonton, senseless pollution, ego enhancement and conspicuous consumption.
