  • Now that's how you reload a pistol.

  • I like how hes just walking thru snapping dude necks and limbs stomping skulls and what not, and nobody is screaming or anything.. LETS JUST KEEP ON DANCIN

  • Tom Cruise is a friggin champ in this movie. Screw this scientology crap people keep bringing up, bottom line Tom Cruise is awesome

  • don't fuck with Vincent

  • Great vid from my second favourite film starring Tom Cruise as a pose to Tom Cruise film, an inspirational man who I lovingly atttribute a somewhat misguided impression, if you check out my channel I have plenty of satirical riffs, sketches, raps, acting segments and will update on my script and stand up writing.

  • why does he have grey hair in the film? excuse my ignorance,I just haven't seen it yet, unfortunately:(

  • @sjmoy1 because he's pushing 50.

  • @sjmoy1 They were trying to market Tom Cruise from a different angle. He can't be a heroic sex symbol forever. This and Magnolia were my 2 fav Tom Cruise performances.

  • @sjmoy1 Aside from just looking pretty cool, I think maybe it was a visual analogy to the coyote. A visual indication of the man's character. The limited grey palette of his hair and suit allude to the animal's pelt. Vincent is motivated, lean, intelligent, streetwise, and oh-so predatory. Qualities that one might ascribe to a coyote.

Musings aside, that was a damn cool movie.

  • @MWJSCK yeah the movie led to believe he would make it all the way to the end, hence probably why they made him die at the nightclub, element of surprise.

  • This is Tom Cruise at his best: you can tell he enjoys his career... he's mild compared to most Hollywood Stars, but very creative, very capable, and awesome at acting...

  • @RayTech70 ofc he enjoys his career probably got paid bout 20 mill for this

  • Tom Cruise is one bad ass motherfucker in this film.

  • Great scene!

Does anyone know where to get the vid that was playing on the screen of the two asian girls kissing?

    Good visual for djing :D

  • this is why i dont go to nite clubs

  • @125TVThird Yeah man it's tough having to dodge bullets every time I go clubbing!

  • @125TVThird I agree, that is why I don't go to Asian night clubs. They are into some shady business in Orange County, California. By the Gods, They have a shifty eye in there night clubs and dealing with the wares. I rather drink at home the go to the club. If I get shot, by accident, then I will have a nice, economical buzz.

  • Ready, Steady, Go (Korean Style) - Paul Oakenfold. It's a bit sped up too.

  • kick ass movie, tom cruise plays a better villian such as this and lestat

  • Comment removed

  • go fuck yourself adventurehead fag

  • ... tom cruise made that club his bitch LOL

  • Only thing that mars this scene is that the dude with the submachine gun (MAC?) would've lit him up at 3:45. Director should've had some people run between them or something to give Tom time to get to his pistol. Having the dude shoot at the body when his target had clearly rolled 3 or 4 feet away was butt. No one's reflexes are *that* slow.

  • @hectiky : Haha, I agree.

  • Excellent shooting stance and shooting on his back, from Cruise ! Great scene !!

  • this is better then HEAT! Tom Cruise straight owned that CLUB lol

  • @epajrgolf Better than Heat, my ass. Heat was actually realistic and plausible.

  • @greensucksbluerules and this isn't plausible? i saw heat and this movie and i liked this better

  • @epajrgolf It's not plausible because all the guards had to do was surround Tom Cruise and disarm him. Plus, the guards don't fire their guns right away, unlike Cruise, and the FBI agents disappear from the scene.

  • @greensucksbluerules These guards are going up against an experienced killer with special forces training. As for surrounding Vincent, don't forget that Vincent scoped out the crowd and located all the guards and took them out one by one. The guards tried to surround him but he got out and killed them all. Tom was a more convincing badass then Robert Deniro in heat. That's just my opinion.

  • @epajrgolf It doesn't take special forces training to fire your gun. Vincent may have scoped out the crowd, but the guards could have easily just disarmed him instead of giving him the time to draw a knife. DeNiro was at least killed by someone qualified to use guns, Cruise was killed by a cab driver who never fired a weapon before. That knocks off some serious badass points.

  • @greensucksbluerules OMG seriously there is a big difference between someone who can make there shots hit the intended target and an amateur that shoots everywhere! Thats the difference..... Also the guards are monitoring hundreds and can't notice everything. Vincent had the advantage of surprise and he used it to his advantage. Vincent is a solo killer where as Deniro worked with a team. I prefer this movie and if you got a problem deal with it

  • @epajrgolf But how do you explain the disappearing FBI agents?

  • Jesus. Look at cruise go. A cold ruthless performance. It wasn't acting bad, it was actually him being a cold, ruthless hitman. And look at him analyse the place. Like a true assassin/hitman.

  • A fantastic scene, and a very accurately portrayed gunfight, right down to the number of rounds in an H&K USP 45.

  • 3:59 Thats how you do a combat reload...

  • felt bad for fanning :(

  • Almost as good as the Heat shoot out in the street scene.

  • Music Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go (Korean Mix)

  • I want to learn this shit!!

  • nharek m

  • TOM CRUISE PLUS GREY HAIR/BEARD=TOTAL BADASS

  • wORST JAson STAtham movie EVER!!!

  • all the gun fight in this film are so fast and clean.... loved it

  • such a badass scene

  • Max: You killed him?!

Vincent: Nah I "shot" him. The bullets and the fall "killed" him.

That face at 0:35 is brutal.

  • CSI is gonna be pissed when they process this Crime Scene!

  • If ur dead keen on playing this scene in a game you should buy Kane and Lynch Dead men. That game takes a lot of pages from Mann's work like this and Heat.

  • Tom Cruise's finest performance in his career.

  • @Dresden1065 Very simple. The man at the airport. Since the man was entering the terminal, he wouldn't have checked into security yet, and the two pistols, magazines and holsters could've fit neatly along with the computer and documents.

  • Cruise's face at 0:36 always makes me chuckle

  • i'd say one of tom cruise's best films.

  • @havoc89 it's a Michael Mann film, but certainly one of Tom Cruise's best roles!

  • @spanishprisoner

I know is was directed (filmed) by Michael Mann, but you know what i meant either way haha.

  • @havoc89 also as LeStat in Interview with the vampire

  • @havoc89 agreed

  • when i grow up i wanna be a assasin like Tom Cruise

  • @dillerknepper Your mom would be proud.

  • @dillerknepper When you grow up just hope that you've learned how to spell better

  • @dillerknepper then become a Scientology ass hole, as well ?

  • @dillerknepper as cool as cruise was in this, killing inocent people probibly isnt the best job in life

  • @dillerknepper There's better ways to make money instead of killing people. I'm just saying.

  • @dillerknepper deeply influenced by tv....

  • @dillerknepper i thought tom cruise was a wizard but i as well want to be an assassin

  • cool

  • всех убил - один остался = kill evryone - and stay the one

  • the moment when he turns over and shoots - something blows up inside me)))

  • @Transitoire82 I know. Something about it gets me so fired up.

  • Dude Tom C was a badass in this!

  • Tom cruise....ULTIMATE BADASS!!!

  • I've been working like a matha fucka at the dry cleaners and haven't had a day off in like 2 months and this motha fuckas want to shoot up the place, fuck that I'm keep on dancing

  • Oh no they shot Bob Seger...

  • That's some gangsta ass gun work right there boy

  • Tom is really agile and quick moving... He'd be a really good boxer or even assassin

  • As soon as the first bullet sound, if the target(fat asian) would have esc..he would have reached korea before tom got there

  • Tom Cruise should play the villain role more often.... much better

  • @warcrouch agreed.

  • @warcrouch yeah it's cool seeing him play the bad guy. He fits the role perfectly, id like to see him do more movies in these kinds of roles.

  • the coolest part of this movie is him just walking out right after he shoots the korean.

  • can someone put up the scene with felix ?

  • I liked this movie...Tom Cruise's shooting was top notch!!

  • i heard a rumor about another collateral with jason statham.. If you remember the begining of this movie he bumps into cruise and switch breifcases together. i think hes another bad guy that goes after jamie foxx. That would be cool..

  • I live the song. :D

  • What is interesting to me is that Cruise is so underused as a heavy. Clearly he wanted to be the leading man with the fame and the money -- that´s understandable. But he, like Pierce Brosnan, makes an exceptionally good villain but is repetitive and sometimes dreary as a lead.

He is also a good actor ... when he acts. Vide Born on the Fourth of July.

  • tom cruise... hes a good actor, no denying that, but the guy in person is a bit of an asshole lets be honest, to me when i watch an interview of him, i dont know why but i always think hes acting fake and just i dunno, a bit of an idiot, like jumping up and down on oprahs sofa... i mean wtf acting like a retard for? then again cant really blame him, if i had all his cash and fame and that bitch he fucks every night id be jumpin up and down like a tard lol

  • Sync this scene in with the song "Man in the Box" By Alice in Chains. It almost works. lol

  • dude you kidding me??? jason bourne would fcken kick ass lolol this is nothing

  • @wererer It would be such a fuckin epic fight though..you have to admit

  • Vincent vs Bourne --- You decide

  • Dj Paul Oakenfold - Ready Set Go..!

  • aimbot...

  • It's difficult for me to look at The Missle as a bad ass, but in this film, he's a full bad ass.

  • Hollywood's best of the best.

  • Best gun sounds in a movie EVER! Michael Mann always delivers with authentic, POWERFUL gunfire sounds.

  • slowest evacuation of a club ever

  • Owned!

  • H&K USP .45 ... what a gun.

  • If i was in that club i would be scared as shit!!

  • what does she say from 2.25 to 2.27?

    sry I'm Italian...

  • @FabryNYPD he's been shot get an RA unit

  • @mymindisfree09

thanks... but what's an RA unit?

  • @FabryNYPD basically the paramedics.

  • Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go this is a song ! ;)

  • Gotta love how in every club scene in every movie the civilians never run for an exit, they just mill around screaming and shuffling back and forth.

  • and walks away thats killer dude

  • what song is played?

  • @Ikfirus ready set go by Paul Oekenfold

  • i love to sound of a usp :)

  • Anybody know the Handgun Model he uses in this film?

  • Comment removed

  • @peacemaker181

I believe an H&K in .45 ACP, but I am not sure which model. Of course his movie version seems to have zero recoil =p

  • @apt3444 It's a HK USP - .45ACP. All blank ammunition including .50 BMG does not have recoil. You have to modify the gun to cycle.

  • @IMFDB

No doubt. I meant the zero recoil comment in jest as most Hollyweird blank guns that are not like the real deal.

  • @apt3444 Well a good shoulder does make a gun look like it has no recoil - the recoil at that point is so subtle it's better not to even try.

  • Comment removed

  • @IMFDB The low recoil of the blanks works in his favor because unlike the 90lb female actresses you see running around in these movies that don't have the grip strength to open a jar of mayonnaise it is believable that his character has proper stance, grip, and strength to minimize recoil. Just pull up some Todd Jarrett videos, you'd think that guy is shooting an air gun with how little the pistol moves. Cruise gets the benefit of that without needing 500,000+ rounds of experience.

  • Illustrating the theory of evolution and the concept of jazz improvisation.

  • wow he really fucked them all up, he was such a bad ass in this movie

  • Oh, how I love a good shootout...and this is one of the top greatest intense shooting sequences I have ever since in a movie.

  • LMAO priceless how he just walks out of the club after killing them like nothings happened.

  • This is one of his best Movies, his walk his talk and the way he holds the guin is poerfect a real bad ass and this aggressive style when he beats up the bouncers of this fucked up chinese guy
