If you want to make a rocket launcher, don't use prefab engines. fill a potato with gunpowder and a fuse, shove it in a spudzooka, (potato cannon) and fire! And by the way, it is not the best ever launcher since you basically bought engines, shoved them in a tube and got OVER 9,000! views. Not worth a single view. I basically built one in fourth grade, but it actually flew. Well.

What a typical ignorant internet comment. There are many design challenges involved here namely; accelerating the rocket to a velocity where it becomes statically stable, and rocket Tip-Off. This was solved by first ejecting the rocket at a stable speed (off the shelf motors won’t work for this) then igniting the rocket after it is clear of the tube. Thinking that a rocket in a tube will work tells me you have no idea what your talking about.

Very nice. OK, now to get things going better. Make the first charge explosive, such as a shotgun shell (power). A rocket motor in reverse. BANG! then rocket propulsion. As the charge burns it will ignite the rocket portion and carry the rocket further. The explosive part gets the rocket out of the tube quickly and straight. Like an RPG or LAW rocket. It's basically an explosive precharge to the rocket fuel. Don't forget the spring loaded fins! :-D

Now you need to get a refillable G rocket and put a powerful spring attached to a centerfire shotgun shell end with a package of explosives attached to it. The spring will be powerful enough to not set off the primer when the rocket is fired but it will set it off on impact. You'll get a sweet explosion. just make sure to armor your refillable motor or you'll have to buy a new one soon.

this is awesome, all you need to do to make it explose is attach a firework to the end of it so that when the impulse motor ignites, the fuse fir the firework will ignite too. adjust fuse length for flight diatance.

for cool effects, attach a roman candle to one end of the rocket and adjust the launcher. or attach the candle to the end of the launcher and let the fuse go inside the barrel.

u can make spud gun = as good from: * 1.5L bottle with 32mm inside neck dia * bbqignitor * 2 screws * 1ft of wire to conect the ignitor up * slightly more than 32mm external dia pvc tube file the tube to a tight push fit with the bottle neck. screw 2 screws in2 bottle base so they almost touch inside, connect bbq ignitor wires 2 these ram a spud down the tube spray a small amount of hairspray in2 bottle push tube in2 bottle neck spark ignitor this will fire 1/3 of a spud well over a pylon.
