@gester27 Well...These are Mako handguards made for real steel ar-15's and such. these are carbine length and require a barrel nut.

Your gun obviously seals horibly bad...with an SP120, the target FPS is 400 with a .2, and the best achievable would prbbly be 430-450FPS with a .2

I'm getting an E1 M8A3 sorry if you want this in a pm or something but... Will a G&P gearbox do me good? Also a G&P A-Z motor, will that boost ROF I would think so. And a 6.01 tight bore 363mm would improve range a good sum? Sorry if I'm bothersome.

@LlamaAirsoft2 not at all bothersome. Never used a G&P Gearbox, but they do make good parts. The motor, if faster than your current motor will increase ROF if it can pull the spring. the 6.01 will definitely increase range from a stock barrel :D

@xLostSoulz in airsoft it is an m4a1 simply because it is shorter than the m16 and has full auto functionality. In real steel weapons the M4A1 has a "full auto" option in place of the three-round burst which the m16 has.

what do you mean by washed? you wash your bbs? or are you saying you reuse them and wash them? you should never reuse bbs and i dont know why you would wash them.

@SavageSnipes in case they have plastic dust on them or metal dust from manufacturing; it could mess up your barrel. I never reuse bb's.

Nice vid man. Sorry to hear about those darn parts breaking. Version 2 G-boxes are a pain in my butt. If I wasn't in love with M-Series/Stanag Rifles (M4/16), I wouldn't bother with V2 boxes. Too bad they couldn't be V3..... Lol.

despite all the durability I want, it never happens. every game I go to, something ends up breaking. Last time it was the piston snapping, then the time before that the QD tab came off the motors tab...ugh. I can take it up to 500 fps but I prefer 400, yes. thanks on that too! :D

@gafcooone it's easy. except it didn't like my motor baseplate so i took a dremel with the sandpaper attachment and made the g27 a little wider to accommodate the baseplate.

DUDE, i figured out the whine problem for the gearbox. The guarder reinforced gear I got was too thick, by a half millimeter or so, and couldn't be adjusted by shimming (or i would have piston problems). So I just put in a classic army stock sector gear cuz I had it laying around and knew it was a strong gear.

oh, and the sector gear was rubbing on the step gear (spur gear), and the step gear couldnt be shimmed lower because of the bushing for the bevel gear.
