Its funny if you do this with cats they play with it and usually eventually lose interest.

Dogs on the other hand...I know more than one dog who's mental stability has been ruined by playing with them with a laser pointer, everytime they see a flash of light resembling it they madly start digging at the ground.

When we use the laser pen with our cat, we started to do it while singing a certain song. Now if we sing the song, she comes out all excited, looking for the red light, LOL!

lol, I use to play with my cat, Morgan, with a pen light. My husband did it once and twirled in around in circles for just shy of 5 minutes. My poor Morgan was so dizzy that when he stopped, he crashed into the wall... hard. Now, Morgan runs whenever he sees a Pen light light on the floor, lmao :(
