Interesting comment. I never ride fast without doing a detailed reconnaissance (check) of the road & conditions.
Secondly, to be ticketed, one needs to have law enforcement with cameras present. Therefore, if they are not present and the road is relatively empty, then it is relatively safe to ride /drive "quickly"....
BTW, I have "track raced" in other countries @ 350kph+
Not unless you hit something immovable. Usually sliding down the road is fine....though not recommended. PS a 60km side on collision at a city intersection is often fatal owing to the deceleration G forces.
@PA200mCasting Actually I've been doing this kind of riding since 1980, flying and diving too.....so not 7 days yet, because a lot of planning and timing goes into reducing the risk of these activities. 其实我一直在做这种骑自1980年以来,飞行和潜水太.....所以没有7天,因为这些活动的风险减少了很多规划和时序。
Hey is this in Taiwan? Where is this road? I've been twice there, all roads were so jammed, I thought everything and everywhere in Taiwan is full packed of cars. Only scooters can ride
@v01d2010 Definitely Taiwan. There are a few locations where one can go quickly......but with very careful "recon" & timing.
Several years ago bikes larger than 550cc were allowed on "expressways" (similar to freeways). In 2012, a few sections of the freeways will be opened to large bikes as well. I don't particularly want to ride on the freeways since they are always packed as you said. If you look at other vids in the "top speed" playlist on my channel, you'll see other locations as well.
cool vid but be careful dude... some shitty guys from mobil01 were collecting & blaming such moto vids. u might be in big trouble if cops or the fxxking mainstream media notice ur vids. just keep low profile on internet.
@ben929 OK, you ride with me, I'll have a GPS & show you what 300+ looks like. (I have several other high speed vids for comparison.) Each 1000 RPM = 30kph. Do the math....
@ben929 You are right, the camera was not "HD" No problem! Look forward to seeing you soon! Take a look at the other videos in the "speed playlist".It is hard to tell the true speed on an expressway.
@valejojohnson We are, now. Thanx for the invite. Looking forward to seeing vlogs / action vids from you in the future. PS don't show your license plate in vids!
Haha, blue trucks and scooters man, Im surprised not more people get killed.
You can go on freeways if you want, its not like they'll catch you ;) and if they do, they wont do anything, since it's taiwan.. But maybe i'm too optimistic now :P
Anyways, i'll be looking forward to more vids, you're putting taiwan in a whole new perspective!
Thanx for the comment; actually this was in the North West, very close to Tao Yuan International Airport. It's hard to find roads long and straight enough that are in a good condition.
It's crazy, but Super bikes are prohibited from the freeways. This was an "expressway"
@CyberEditing Hi, that rule is sort of lame! Is that a law meant to prevent racing on the freeways? Why should they prevent a guy who owns a larger motorcycle from using a Freeway if he needed to for commuting or travel?
@Torrque Hi there. Definitely lame! That law may change next year. Until a few years ago,(2008) no bikes bigger than 150cc were officially allowed here. (However, I was illegally riding a VMAX since 2002.)
The authorities assumed that superbikers would be just the same as the idiots on their scooters. That's not the case. I've noticed that the bike bike riders here are surprisingly disciplined.....good riding in traffic & all wear protective gear.
@CyberEditing Thanks! Funny thing; I was thinking if I lived there with my Vmax, I'd hate it. So, you had one too? I love mine. There are stupid superbikers out there anywhere but for the most part, we respect the power we have underneath us. I live in Hawaii where scooters are everywhere also. The less power and more maneuverability does tend to make people stupid... like a scooter can't kill them. Bigger bikes tend to KNOW they are likely to die if they're stupid.
@Torrque You must have lots of experience! Your's was an accurate & wise observation. Great thing about Taiwan is that the percentage of superbike riders to the total poulation is surprisingly high. It's only been "legal" to ride big bikes for a few years here(and only on the expressways for the last two), so it's regarded as a privilege.....members of the public take photos of me or others anytime we stop......

PKpudding 1 year ago 5
@PKpudding 你隨便叫一台騎隼的人,定速90以下來騎騎看,騎的到我輸你啦。

@t25885233 我翻译您的意见,但不理解。对不起!
CyberEditing 11 months ago

oh by the way, what road is it in this clips?
ANTIGRAYS 2 years ago
@ANTIGRAYS
Hi Gray, this is near TaoYuan Airport on expressway 61, (South-bound). Check the map attached to the video.
It's actually nearer the TaoYuan Industrial Park between exits 34 & 44....there's a speed camera on the other (north-bound side)
I usually do these runs at dawn...

hmm, I didn´t like the roads in taiwan too much, too many bumps and quick fixes. Though i drove a car in taiwan since i didnt have my bike yet then.
I thought the law was changed? 550cc+ can go on freeways isn't it?
LithCS 2 years ago
That's the crazy part: 550cc+ are allowed on "expressways," but not on "freeways"
Well expressways are better than traveling on ordinary main roads with un-synchronized lights and retarded scooter & truck drivers.
