This is one of those songs that, in the wrong hands, can go from emotional to cheesy in a heartbeat. Very nice. I'm not kidding when I say this is probably up there with Marley and Joe Strummer in capturing the feeling (at least out of all the covers I've ever heard). BTW, I had to get the scoop on you from my teenage son. I've seen you on the show, but didn't know you were a true musician.
