Is that needle head a replacement or restored original? It looks to be in fantastic condition! I recently bought a Edison S19 and its brass is covered in what appears to be old mold and patina and the string linking the needle and diaphragm broke. The poor contraption is so beat up, yet still amazingly in working condition!
It's always nice to hear these little snippets of a bygone era, especially on the devices they were designed alongside. Nothing can beat the sound of a good crackly record.
Thanks for the comments. No, that is not the original reproducer to this specific machine but it is a nice reproducer nonetheless. The W-19 had the scarce "oxidized" producer, those are very hard to find.
Great song Dean. One of my favorites. I used to have a different take on BA, but I think it got scratched & I threw it away about 20 yrs ago. I'd love to find another copy. I didn't realise it was released on DD as well.
