Songs are not written on Saturday recorded Sunday then sold in stores on Monday! some bands have played songs live for up to ten years before getting them released on an album, one I can think of is SkidRow's " get the fuck out" I heard it a year before it was released, A friend bought the 'Slave To The Grind' album at a midnight release and when he played it I sang along since I already heard this song "and a few others from the Slave To The Grind album" twice live!.

@DrRock07 well it was written and performed in '89, I talked to a friend of mine that has more Motorhead stuff then me "most of mine is mp3 since I lost most of my cassettes" and he has this bootleg vhs from rio in '89 and this song is on it, look around for "Motörhead - Live in Brazil 1989 Bootleg Video" and you can see the playlist from the concert.

It is, they played the song (And even wrote it) before the album was released. They often performed songs that weren't entirely finished in those days.
