Ascherman, a great man of peace with no political affiliation, just the wish to uphold human rights and justice, he brought me with a group of American and Israeli Jewish people, to an area of Palestine that was occupied by Israeli troops. In Palestinian olive trees have long been destroyed by soldiers, many of them 1000's of years old. in a wonderful act of justice, Rabbi Ascherman led us in replanting olive trees on the Palestinians land.
