Lido Beach Surf

I almost drowned at lido when I was little because of the surf and currents. Those waves pull you back strongly!

Lido Beach is excellent. The Lido Beach Resort is very nice.

I was out there that day! I remember waking up and hearing this crashing noise! I've been going on vacation to Sarasota for the last 26 years and I don't remember seeing waves like that before! They had mellowed out some by 11am but they were still awesome! Thanks for uploading!

yea I go to Lido Beach every spring. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn or Lido Beach Resort. Do you live there?

Yes. I was quite lucky to have bought on the beach way back in '94 and I try to go 3-4 times a year. It's very special!

wow! i have never seen waves that big at lido beach before...

That was taken in Aug 2007. At that time of year the waves can double the size of those in the video with a surface temp of 92F. It doesn't get much better than that.
