  • Lido Beach is excellent. The Lido Beach Resort is very nice.

  • this isnt lido beach in NY right

  • It's on Lido Key in Sarasota, FL 34236. Interesting that there would be another Lido Beach.

  • There are alot of Lido's.

BTW how often are there surfable waves in Sarasota Fl?

  • could you get a vid by the limetree?

  • wow i go every year ive never seen the waves get that big.

  • I was out there that day! I remember waking up and hearing this crashing noise! I've been going on vacation to Sarasota for the last 26 years and I don't remember seeing waves like that before! They had mellowed out some by 11am but they were still awesome! Thanks for uploading!

  • My pleasure.

  • yea I go to Lido Beach every spring. We usually stay at the Holiday Inn or Lido Beach Resort. Do you live there?

  • Yes. I was quite lucky to have bought on the beach way back in '94 and I try to go 3-4 times a year. It's very special!

  • wow! i have never seen waves that big at lido beach before...

  • That was taken in Aug 2007. At that time of year the waves can double the size of those in the video with a surface temp of 92F. It doesn't get much better than that.

Note: Great montage of Lido Beach!

  • oh ok thx
