  • Great video - Shabbat Shalom - Friday to Saturday evening = the Biblical Christian Sabbath - God bless you.

  • I live in Glendale. I do open air on the Santa Monica 3rd st. promenade on Saturdays from 6-9. Can you preach on the Americana?

  • are they preaching or selling amway?

  • I follow Jesus Christ is good enough for God

(by follow I mean born again)

  • Shame that drunk/brain dead homeless looking guy had to ruin this video.

  • Who came up with the nickname, "The Lawman"? lol. It's cool. I was just wondering of Friel or Comfort came up with it. I know Kirk probably didn't.

  • YES! AMEN ! YAH bless you, preacher !

We don't expect much out of ungodly people !

    "Dead people" do dead things.

They can laugh but they can't love !

    Cry aloud,spare not: REALIZE,REPENT,RECEIVE !

    Warnings MUST sound serious !

Their choice: HIS LOVE or unquenchable fire!

  • God is a diverse God. Creation proves that much to me. Because of this I believe God reveals Himself to different people in different ways. I do not personally get anything from an open air style but some people do, so i am glad there are people to meet that need. Then there are many who will not get it from Open air and I am glad for people like RB who employ creativity, and pastors who preach. When all of these different types of people can work together we have power to change the world

  • Yes. Creation proves that there is a Creator that created all things. God reveals Himself through His word. Scripture is a lamp for our feet and a light for our path. When we go ouside of scripture then we are creating a god in our mind which is called idolatry and God's word says that no idolaters will enter the kingdom of heaven (1 Corinthians 6:9). Jesus has said that He is the way, and the truth and the life (John 14:6). So we must obey what He teaches and not what we feel is right.

  • Well gee wiz there is something about the Holy Spirit being our guide too...leads us to something what is that...oh yea...understanding. One can obey what Jesus teaches AND know how to think and reason on areas that may not be clear or may need further developing in method. So since Jesus never says preach these exact words and no other or preach in this way and no other I might be reasonable to assume there are many ways God can be glorified through what we do. I am glad for all of them

  • Sarcasm not intended as much as the worded makes it sound, but mildly so. I am not sure what the purpose of your two quotations was 4x4 because they do not really discount anything I said. If you are making a point...i am not following you

  • Well. Scripture is the foundation. The Holy Spirit dwells within a new believer sanctifying them, giving them a new heart with new desires. The point is that you wont find ways outside of scripture that are not biblical in how God draws a sinner to Jesus Christ. God resist the proud but gives grace to the humble. Psalm 19:7 tells us that the Law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul, making wise the simple. Developing methods outside of scripture is dangerous and sets up false gospels.

  • yeah you aught to go on tbn with the rest of tbn , bro good work.

  • 10-4. :-)

  • what is the point of the line? Too good to actually get close to people?

  • Who said he was good? God has said that no one is good, not even one. Romans 3:12 The point of the line is the spit zone when someone is preaching and also to keep the crowd under control. When witnessing off the box then face to face is just fine with a person or small group of people. You don't see a person speaking at an event and everyone is standing right in front of them. I hope this helps.

  • The gentleman was extremely intoxicated. As fourbyfour said, it was simply a matter of trying to maintain some semblance of order and to keep the intoxicated man from being too much of distraction.

"Too good to actually get close to people"? Seems like a judgmental thing to say, don't you think? :-)

It is interesting how those who scream "judgmental!" the loudest and most often rarely apply the same standard to their own behavior.

  • I do hope you will consider the content of the message and not simply dismiss the effort to present the Law and the Gospel to lost people, simply because you may disagree with the method in which it is transmitted. And I hope you will pray that those who heard the gospel will repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

  • Not judgmental. Have seen a lot of people with a holier than thou attitude. I have seen many use the gospel for personal gain and glorification. Many time the truth for what they are doing is not seen in their words but their actions. Keeping people behind a said line is a red flag...I was merely concerned that this was another glory seeker

yet on a side note think about this: Jesus had no lines, yet He spoke to crowds all the time. He didn't push people back or say they were annoying Him

  • So, let me ask you: when was the last time you shared the Law and the Gospel with someone and you pressed it to the point that they clearly understood that unless they repent and receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they would spend eternity in hell, as the just punishment for their sins against God?

  • About two days ago. I am a pastor at a church in MO. There is a place for pushing and pressing there is also a place for planting, watering, and harvesting. The Gospel in the Bible was always carried on the shoulders of relationships. Yes there were great sermons that called out for repentance but it is through relationships major changes were made. Making converts is not making disciples. If you look at what NT says, it uses a farming analogy more than an upfront one. Cultivate to change

  • Actually Jesus did distance Himself at times to speak to crowds of people.

"And large crowds gathered to Him, so He got into a boat and sat down, and the whole crowd was standing on the beach." (Matthew 13:2)
