  • Thanks for watching! Yes it is understandable but we were aware of the potential for a much wider audience and believed that some people may have trouble understanding the accent. So with that in mind we decided to subtitle everything.

  • Why are there subtitles for those who were speaking in English? It's understandable

  • what lovely gentle men & women their Lore God's law is so disgacefully disrespected. SEARCH: Crown Temple see what "Legal" system really IS. (this vid, a Middle Temple 'link' for Their so-called "Law" in NZ !) Students, Barristers & Judges are th evil centre-SO arrogant. ALL part of ancient System for procuring Land, Property &People (reg'd slaves). All of us-white/black, should learn & KNOW what that corporation IS. Their "Legal" is in fact unlawful- & not of God. (for OUR benefit 2 know)

  • I wonder if the police have offered some kind of apology? Were they aware at the time that they where encroaching on a ceremonial ground?

  • thank you for taking the time to make this video. and good job on using a media like youtube.

i would love to sit and talk with you more. i am learning more each day and i will teach my children too.

  • Why are these guys always out of breath!??

  • You talk about respecting the "law" what a joke. When Aboriginal people start actually respecting the law in the NT then i would actually care about someone accidently going to your ceremony. What a load of hypocritic bullshit. Stop whinging.

  • now you are labeling all aboriginals as law breakers, your justification for not giving a fuck is perverse to begin with. I dont believe you do have the capacity to change your views as you are already using irrational logic to satisfy your need to persecute another culture.

  • @123fuckkme Well said

  • I so respect your Law and your desire to keep it alive and to keep it pure.

What is Sacred is Sacred, in the eyes of the Creator, it is the purity of the intent of a particular worship, no matter what that worship may be. You have your place in the eyes of the Creator, and your freedom to worship creation and its forces as you choose is sacrosanct,in the Eyes of the Creator who sees all in terms of their purity of intent.

    Bless you All.

  • A wonderful commentary. All Australians should learn more about Aboriginal cultures and law and show more respect. Then perhaps we'll stop being so suspicious of 'bias' and instead celebrate two legal systems working together.

  • Yes, it certainly looks like they are giving us only part of the story - leaving out the part that makes them look bad.

Why did the police feel the need to go there?

Why did the boy they were chasing go there? Did he show disrespect?

Was the ceremony hapening or were the initiates just remaining there?

Should other Australian ethnic cultures or religious groups be able to give sanctuary to people hiding from the law?

  • Its not their job to speak for the police. And yes we have parlaimentary priviledge and journalist priviledge and sanctity of confession and have had the innadmissability of testimony by spouses and all sorts so whats new. Would you expect your kids uni entrance exams tohave police walk in to questioin a student or wait for an appropriate moment? Its not rocket science its just real r e s p e c t. We all have to show it to get it.

  • gunfet you raise some vaild points but in absolute ignorance, i will will proceed to punch holes in your theory right now....

ok so hypothetically the police have genuine cause for concern to enter.....

why bring a woman into a sacred mans camp?

similar analogy can be made to a woman in police custody is suspect to be withholding something ... does she get stripped by male police officers?

but of course in your fucked up perception blacks dont deserve this discretion.

  • They've done that in the past in other cultures, storm into churches during mass, weddings and funerals. What's the response been. And by the way, I have it on good authority that the young fellow in question was being pursued over a minor traffic offense, To my knowledge that does not constitute a criminal act.

  • Comment removed

  • And the NT Police have since apologised. If they did nothing wrong as you say, then why did they apologise?

  • Very good to see this being communicated.

I suspect the Policewoman was there out of ignorance, rather than as a deliberate act?

Obviously they two groups need to work more closely together.

  • Fantastic stuff, showing proud Aboriginal men with great strength and honour, something I am not sure the police force have ever developed in this country.

Its a really important thing for young fullas to get taught to respect women and I wish this system was introduced right across the country to white fullas with these strong, but gentle men guiding the way. Maybe if we paid more attention to these very important traditional practices there would be less violence and war in the world.

  • The tragedy of this situation is the clash of cultural belief, which is not dissimilar to the isolation of women in religious observances of both the Moslem and Jewish faith to nominate to so-called civilised examples.

Perhaps part of the problem is that the culturally significant area was not a purpose-built edifice with "men only" written on the door, or where generations of misogynistic discrimination segregate men and women in relation to religious activities.

  • Thanks for sharing this. A great way of getting the message out.

  • Nice work there people

  • Right on Uncles. Peace. Respect.
