Whats the difference between cat back and test pipes? Can some one explain that pls

Cat-back exhaust refers to an exhaust system which replaces everything behind the catalytic converters. Such as Y-pipe, mid pipe, and muffler. Some exhaust take a dual pathway, but that's another story.

Test pipes replace the OEM catalytic converters with a resonated or non-resonated straight pipe. It is illegal due to emissions, but hey they're awesome. Check out Motordyne ART pipes!

I love the G35 and that sounded pretty nice, but to g35coupe04- you gotta check out VRAlexander Carrera GT with straight pipes.. Now thats a good exhaust note.
