Gratitude

I am thankful for encountering, in that year, the Nichole Nordeman song "Gratitude" which opens "Send some rain, would You send some rain" three days after writing how God answered a similar prayer in my story "FHD Remix" by granting a character the ability to spray water from her hands.

I am thankful for my families of blood and of heart. I am thankful that I have recovered everything that I thought I had lost due to my brain damage. I am thankful for my new ministry the Church of Abundance in Charlottesville, VA. I am thankful for my life lessons. I am thankful for this opportunity to share and to read all the beautiful gratitude messages of others. Thank you!

This last year I found my life's calling in permaculture design. That's a design science, a new way of looking at agriculture. It is about much more than gardening though. It also means permanent culture, a more sustainable way of life.

When things get hectic, as they usually do, it helps me to remember how very blessed I am. I have 4 wonderful children whom I treasure and continuously bring me joy, a secure job, and friends that care about me. I then take a deep breath and press on to the next thing on my "never ending list" of responsibilities.
