That is totally not true. Axl was huge fan of Nirvana. He said that couple of times in different interviews. At 1992 MTV awards, Axl Rose asked Kurt Cobain to keep his wife, Courtney Love, under control, because she started teasing him for no reason. But even Kurt was cool with that. So... check your info! :)

You can even find pictures of Axl with Nirvana's hat on the internet.

Axl got mad and threatened a fight (like he usualy does). Then Duff got in to the act and threatened Krist. Also Dave Grohl teased Axl at the end of a performace when he ran up to the mic and kept on saying Hy Axl... So it was a team effort really :P Funny thing is that Dave and Slash performed together noumerous times :P
