Exactly. Another reason why predicting end of the world is false --> Yahweh would not reveal this information to mere humans, because then people in their sinful nature would glorify Harold Camping (if the date was correct), and essentially ignore that ALL glory goes to Yahshua(Jesus), alone!! Yahshua is the One worthy of OBEDIENCE, PRAISE and GLORY.

P.S. I love the picture, great visual depiction of a false prophet. Everytime I think "false prophet", I think of this picture, it helps :)

@elxatwo What you know about it seems like a terrorist threat. Government agencies charged with these responsibilities have access to much more information than the common man and probably determined it wasn't a disguised threat. Besides, you can't interrogate or prosecute people on what you THINK their intent may be. Lastly, this church has (wrongly, of course) predicted the rapture many times before with no attacks accompanying them, there's no reason to think this time would be different.

I feel if more Christians would read more of the Bible, then they would not be fooled by people like Camping. The Bible is lessons, history, past and future prophecy, and there are teachings to protect you especially from being deceived by false prophets.

@peacebygrace Camping is "stumbling" for a reason. Why? Because look at the scripture I read to you in this video. It gives us an opportunity to *see* who is false. Although we all make mistakes, we must truly discern what needs to be corrected. We must discern *truth* from *error.*

Only a false prophet would select a specific date for the end of the world. "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Matthew 24:36

@whisperthought Off topic but there's an astonishing nugget of information about Mat 24:36 that you've overlooked. I can tell you've overlooked it because of the way you quoted the verse. I will try and find a video for you that explains it. In a nutshell the ancient Jews didn't know the day or the hour of the new moon which they needed to know in order to celebrate a major feast. So the Jews named that time of year as "No one knows about that day or hour"

@DickGhostmoon This is correct because the appointed feasts are what we believers must go by. The Hebrew lunar calender is what we should be going by, not the Gregorian. In Genesis YHWH said: (Genesis 1:14) And Elohim said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,"

It takes a *great* deal of study but there is deep truth's when one goes by the appointed feasts.
