  • Happy 60th birthday Nils!

  • Been into Nils since the early 70's,,, first saw him on the Old Grey Whistle test.. One of the nicest guys in Rock and Roll and one of the best Guitar talents in Music - Not even Bruce could match him for rhythm n soul. As crowsfan put it "Fucking Amazing Musician" and then some....

  • Most of the people had no clue what kind of talent they were watching. why is the E Street band so famous? This is just a part of it. I was introduced to him in the 70's. Had no idea where he eas going. Sorry I missed this one!

  • hey was this for keith richards ? ive heard bout that.--

  • @stones2day Yes it was.... there are 3 pages of comments here... click through them, I think the info is on the 3rd page of comments

  • @wretchedvonkrank thx for the information ;)

  • maybe one of the best accoustic solos I've ever heard/seen or what else!

He's a great musician! As I was 10 years old I listened to his unplugged cd every night and day! He influenced a lot my style of playing guitar and I feel blessed having had the chance to know him, even if he isnt that popular!

    Thanks a lot Nils

  • Hey kara-- Sorry for the poor sods?-- you're very diplomatic--I reckon they should stick their heads in an aircraft engine- they wouldn't notice the noise anyway, since their ears are patently not working!

Either that, or they are plain tone deaf-- this playing is awesome -- and that's not a word I use lightly or often!

Thanks for posting Mr/Miss rank - appreciate it

  • one of the most under rated

    musicians

    in the usa

  • @spurcheck since....like 1970 with Grin?...agree 100%..fucking amazing musician...actually got to see him in a little bar in Wilkes Barre...partied with his band after the show...the Hooters were playing in town that night too and they were there....

  • moj boze! fenomenalno! :))

  • I feel sorry for them poor sods that were leaving at 0:10 .... bet they are kicking themselves

  • I think i cried with happiness at 3:36

  • Jaysus imagine Nils took over from Ronnie Wood for the next Stone tour, man that wold make for a rocking gig! Although it would mean the E-Street Band wouldn't be touring, decisions decisions, hehehe,

  • Phenominal guitar player !

  • incredible! what a masterpiece...

  • quick question for anyone who cares

I have a music video from itunes, is it possible to upload it and if so how?

  • Why are there so many people getting up, wandering around etc?.Basically just not listening, apparently. This sort of inspired performance should stop ANYONE in their tracks. Magical.

  • @GrahamSolo .Ya know after loving music my whole life, I am finally admitting to myself(I'm 44) that some people, maybe a lot of people, just don't hear music. They don't REALLY hear it.Maybe if they decide to listen, then -MAYBE THEN, they start to hear something other than what they were already expecting to hear.

  • Beautiful

  • He's using MY guitar! Well, at least the model I own, the EAN10C

  • actually it was a message to keith - who had been bailed for heroin possession -not to go back to toronto to face trial as he risked a 7 year prison stretch. Keith did go back and the judge sentenced him to probation plus a suspended sentence on condition he played a benefit concert in toronto for the Canadian Institute for the Blind!

  • Don't worry Nils, Keef ain't going anywhere soon!

  • thanks, wretch.i thought it was something like that.the more i listen to it the more i like it.fantastic song and fantastic performance.

  • is this song dedicated to keith richards?

  • Keef was busted in Toronto for possession of drugs, Nils always wanted to be in the Stones.

  • There's still time! Nils for the Stones!

  • Very true, imagine that!

  • One of the probably best unplugged players ever... please check his CD. Awesome recording; makes big fun with a good stereo.

  • Actually... His Acoustic Live album makes a cheap stereo sound hifi...

Until recently I had a crappy stereo and this was the only album that sounded really good. On my current hifi it sounds like a quite expensive hifi :)

    Highly recommended...

  • @xXxJanKxXx that's one of the best live albums I've heard in years...too bad you'll never hear it on the radio

  • Awesome! i love his voice

  • HARD ROCK CALLING!

    CANNOT WAIT

  • maybe they can appreciate excellent guitar technique??

  • wouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!!!!56 stars and 43988 thanks !
