The scene in the Editor's Office starting at about 8:00 makes no sense at all--how does he suddenly forget it's 1941? Why would he be confused that they don't know about Eisenhower? That was TERRIBLE writing!
The best t.v. show of all time. Not just the crazy stuff either. the show contains many heart warming moments also. I've seen each episode at least 100 times since 1962.
Funny thing is a story did appear in the Honolulu paper before Pearl Harbor that reads "japs might attack over weekend.' I the truth isn't looked upon kindly in the comment section of youtube so I'll say no more about the attack.
first jenson accepts that he is in the past and starts laying bets then when he gets to the news paper office and no one belives him he forgets its not 1958 thats where it falls to pices for me bad writhing.
Oddly enough the Honolulu Advertiser newspaper actually did print a front page headline warning of an imminent air attack by Japan on Hawaii on November 30, 1941 one week before it happened.
All but two copies of this paper were later destroyed.
Yeah the government knew and someone leaked it to the press that japanese messages had been intercepted about the attack but they let the people die so they had an excuse to go balls out in the war
Love the scripting in this...they truely don't do writing like this anymore. I shall look up the TZ torrent...thanks for the heads up....question though, how many Gigs did it cost you to download the series? Happy Holidays good brother.
Thanks for the info, however I have to be invited by a member in order to register...or get luckey enough to find an opening in the first couple of days of the month...wish me luck, I'm going to try and get all the time tunnel series and upload them to youtube, I've noticed they aren't to be found right the now...peace man

Doesn't he know that he's in 1941 by this point? Why is he mentioning so many anachronisms? Is he trying to make them think he's crazy or something?

The actual headline on the Honolulu
Advertiser on November 30, 1941
was "JAPANESE MAY STRIKE OVER WEEKEND! NATION READY FOR BATTLE"
That is a pretty specific warning if I ever saw one. But surprisingly it has never appeared in any of the Pearl Harbor books or movies.
