This is the 1946 French production, and it is more historically accurate than the Hilary Swank version of a few years ago (The Affair of the Necklace). Since it a French production, we will have to wait on the French company that owns the rights to release this film on DVD. I agree this is a classic film to be shared among all who are interested in this subject or time period. Probably won't happen though.

I have always wanted to see this movie because it shows a more correct portrayal of the events and characters.
