I'm intersted in learning the differences between arabic and hibraic (hebrew). What strikes me is the close similarities, but their still are differences of course, for instance, we don't use a word which sounds like Qidissiyah (Qedesha) to speak about Zina (Zona), you know what I mean ? anyways. I leanrt recently that "Safer" means book, we have 2 words in arabic : Kitab (root KTB=wirte) and SIFR (SFR) plural (ASFAR=piles of books. Asfar is used in the Quran to speak about the jews actually.
qedesha does not mean holy in Hebrew, although it does share the same root-word. I already explained this somewhere. Don't worry, there are also words in Hebrew that have good meaning that in Arabic of bad meaning, and visa-virsa.
Interesting what you say about asfar - that it is both plural for books as well as a term for Jews. In Hebrew sefarim = books and sofrim = scribes AS WELL AS a certain group of Jews, the members of the Mosaic Court.
There is no confusion in the language. The word for prostitute is zona, not qadesha. The two words you refer to are two separate words with a shared root. They are not the same word. The holiness of G-d is qedusha whereas a cult-prostitute (a female who prostituted herself as part of an idolatrous worship) is called a qdesha. This word shares the same root because these cult-prostitutes were SET APART / SANCTIFIED to the idolatry they worshiped....
LOL. I'm reading directly from my website on many of the clips I've uploaded. If I had better access to computers/internet, I wouldn't do so... but my time is extremely pressed. Thanks for your advice though. So, until I'm able to have better computer access, hopefully whoever desires to know more about the topics my clips are on, will be willing to over look this. Now that I'm back in Israel my net access will be even more limited, so there probably won't be any more videos for a while.

qedusha and qdesha are two distinctly separate words. They share the same root QDSH which in Hebrew means set-apart, sanctified, set-aside, holy.
