  • It is too bad that there are not too many of these organs around any more. Nothing can compare to the real thing, not even the most advanced digital sampling technology can copy the real thing. What is even worst, the only organ selling is Hammond tone wheel organs or Hammond/Suzuki organs along with expensive Leslie speakers.

  • Hi, the organ is a hybrid mostly made of parts from Barton, Kilgen, Kimball and Wurlitzer organs that were long ago broken up for parts. It will be 54 ranks when it is finished. Right now as you see it in the video there are sixteen ranks playing. The truck in the backround is a homemade vehical my dad built. It's a 1984 Ford E350 chassis with a 1987 Ford F250 Cab modified to look like a 1940 Ford. It's powered with a 9.0L International Diesle V8.

  • What is that car in the background? What is the brand and model of that organ?

  • @Etnecserc OK I looked over the poster's site and found out that it is a Cornue organ. But I would still like to find out what kind of car that is in the background.

  • Spectacular interpretation of Rose's sparkling gem! You've done an outstanding job. To quote Red Skelton (for whom David Rose re-arranged it as the theme for "The Red Skelton Show" and "The Red Skelton Hour"; it was Skelton's favorite piece):

"Good night, good luck, and may God bless!"

  • You've really done a marvelous interpitation of this old song. Thanks for posting.
