I do have to admit, the pair is kind of odd. I remember playing Tekken since the 2nd grade, and haven't picked it up since.

The Tekken dudes seem kind of weak, too. All the Street Fighters have their long range hadoukens, shoryukens, etc, while theTekken people only have close range attacks.

@NarutoFanBoyie Jin is a main character of the Tekken franchise, but the true protagonist of Tekken's story is Kazuya. Akuma would be a natural rival of Heihachi's, since they are the main bad guys. I don't know who you mean by Kazama, since that's the last name of three Tekken characters : Jin, Jun (his mom) and Asuka. Even if Jin uses his mother's name, he is also a MISHIMA - Jinpachi's, Heihachi's and Kazuya's family name.

I assume by "Kazama" you mean "Kazuya". There's "Devil Kazuya" you know, so Ryu and Kazuya works. Also, Kazuya is the main character series, save Tekken 3 when Jin was introduced. Jin has "shared" the role of protagonist in every game since, but Kazuya is still the original.

Jin can be seen as a more successful Alex. He isn't face of the series.

Tekken has long combos, but they are not difficult to perform either. SF4 gameplay is just too slow, restricted, and unresponsive. All I saw was a bunch of 1-2 hits with some kind of stop motion/camera trick for added effect in each hit and a couple of grabs that will get old and boring real fast.

@Kall958 The only character whose properties actually has an effect is C.Viper. Her lightning property on one of her move can cripple and that's pretty much it. Then again you seem to be refering to energy projectiles which case concludes nothing as Jinpachi(fireball) and D.Jin(laser) are considered Tekken characters.

Anyway, Vega, Balrog, Adon, Cammy, Makoto, Alex, Cody, Zangief, Ibuki, Abel, Yang, Yun, E.Honda, Dudley, Gen, T.Hawk, El Fuerte, Guy, Rufus, and Hakan don't having "elemental powers." And I guess I can add Blanka, Bison, and Fei Long since like Heihachi, Kazuya, D.Jin, Lars, and Raven none of their elemental affinities have any real effects. In SF, lightning properties do not paralyse, flame properties do not stun and damage over time, etc.
