I know that this 901 is from TEC, but I ordered one from Totally Wicked, I've been hearing about how the Mini from Totally Wicked isn't a "true" DSE901, do you know if this is true or not?

TECC and TW were actually the same company and sold the same products. you are correct in thinking that its not a "true" 901 but the difference (if any) is so minimal that i highly doubt anyone would see a difference between the two ;)

well yes and no........its only harmful when used irresponsibly. if you left a bottle of e-liquid out and a child drank it then yes it certainly would be harmful. but just as you would with bleach, cleaning products, medicine etc you keep it out of the reach of little ones.

nicotine is a poison.......but when used responsibly its not dangerous.

people wrongly think that its the nicotine in a cigarette that causes the harm.......its not ;)

But telling people that nicotine is harmless is plain stupid and irresponsible. 40 - 60mg could be a lethal dose to an adult human. That is less than Cocaine. It is poisonous! Plain and simple.

in the same way that you can use nicotine patches to wean yourself of nicotine you can do the same with e-cigs. start on high nic carts, then medium nic carts, then low nic carts and eventually zero nic carts :)

Hi Scott. I recently purchased one of these 901s. I like to direct drip for better vapour, but have read that this is not recommended for automatic batteries as the juice can get to the battery. Is this likely to happen?

yes it is possible for juice to get inside the battery on this model unfortunately. but just make sure that you dont add too many drops at a time and you should be fine :)

the "head buzz" you get when smoking a cigarette is actually caused by the 4000 chemicals that are in tobacco and not the nicotine. as e-cigs dont contain tobacco you dont get the head buzz...........but you do get that satisfying relaxed feeling from relieving your nicotine cravings :)

1. when inhaling, take nice long controlled drags to get better vapour

2. get yourself some e-liquid and refill the carts rather than purchase more carts as its far more cost effective

3. get yourself a few spare parts........extra battery and an atomiser is a must

4. dont vape constantly when you 1st get it as you might get a nicotine headache! because it doesnt go out like a regular cigarette, it can be hard to put down at times! lol

for a regular type of e-cig it used to be the titan (joye 510) but i now use the tornado as my main daily vape. its the same as the titan but the battery lasts the whole day :)

you can fill the carts, but it has to be with e-liquid........not water! lol

510 for everyday use

901 for at home chillin, with company or at the movies or bar

the 901 is a bit of a step down from the titan, but you should still be getting good vapour and throat hit. try this:-

1. fully charge battery for at least 3 hours

2. fully drain the atomiser

3. then add 4 drops of e-liquid to the atomiser

4. put on a fresh cart

keep vaping till vapor comes to life

They sell some on the site but they look different to the one you were using. Also when not in use can I just leave it alone and go back to it? should I disconnect the battery? or do I have to use 1 cartridge up at once?

hi mate, the bottles are my own whicbh i filled with the e-liquid from that site. yep, just leave it until you want to vape again, no need to disconnect. and you can change carts whenever you want but its far more cost effective to refill them with the liquid.

sounds like you have a leaky / over filled cart! wipe off any excess liquid, blow thru the mouthpiece and then you should be good to go!

Personally I'm disconnecting the battery when not in use because I've had 3 that have suddenly started heating the atomiser as soon as I screw them together... atomiser quickly gets extremely hot and glows bright red ... its a bit worrying really

2 drops of juice on the atomiser is about the equivelant of one cigarette........and yes, its just like smoking! (in my opinion!)

I noticed you showed the difference between straight inhaling and bringing it into your mouth than inhaling. I myself do the latter cause that's how I always smoked...also when I try to do the straight inhale, for me anyway it seems to almost burn my throat. I thought it might be like that vapor is almost like a steam at that point. Still hot from turning into vapor and that's why I'm getting that affect. Idk, I'm wondering if its just me or if I'm doing something wrong. Btw I got the Blue Cig.

Unfortunately I bought it several months ago and did not use at the time because the builders arrived and couldn't face life sitting in a corner covered in dust without ciggies...

Doubt that Jason would believe me and change it :(

Great review! I have been using this model for 4 months and every thing you said is right on.

To clean the atomizer, boil it it water for about 3 minutes, make sure to let it dry before using it.

Buying the liquid to refill the cartridges and dripping into the atomizer is a lot cheaper than buying new cartridges.

Great review again, man. I saw these things on a BBC news article a few weeks ago and was astonished how an invention like this could have passed me by. Now my whole family of smokers has bought one. Currently vaping away on a Titan/901 and Black Supermini from TECC. My 32mg RedBullion has kept me off analogues for 3 weeks now =D

if you have an atomiser that is not producing much vapour you can soak it in a cup of pepsi / coke for 20 minutes to clean it. the bubbles and the acid help remove all the gunk that builds up. just rinse it under the tap afterwards and then leave to dry out on a paper towel.

sometimes works, sometimes doesnt! lol

well i direct drip a lot using various e-cigs and have not encountered any problems. the main thing is to look after your e-cig by draining the atomiser every so often to prevent too much build up.

im really not sure about delivery time to the states but id imagine its around 7 - 10 days. send them an email, they should be able to answer you a bit better.
