Unfortunately the "News of the World" is the only national paper that ever usually reports on anything "paranormal", which is a shame.

Most intelligent people in the UK regard the "red-top" papers as trash reading which makes any UFO story lose credibility immediately.

It's not the top newspaper but it's another vehicle for Rupert Murdoch, who conveniently does own the UK's top newspaper; The Sun, which is just as awful.

This is true that US and UK are most influence nation on earth but there are other countries that very important too such as; Japan, Russia, China, Germany started second WW which dramatically helped Allies country specially US learn their science and technology. No Sacha you stated in your previous that the general UK public were unaware of current technological progress and find it hard to define what a hoy air ballon is. Seriously Chinese lanterns have been around the UK for decades I myself made one at primary school over 30 years ago so why all of a sudden the 100 increase in the last year. When was the last time a Chinese lanten could out strip a helicopter and you would realise that many, many ufo sightings are phisical metalic objects (saucers, rod shape, triangles at what point when did these become lantens?
