  • The color is from a mazda RX8

  • thanks alot...i will try to find the code from dealer or something...thanks

  • hey wats your MPG like when you use it as a daily driver

  • go to any collision center , and ask to see there paint color books, how can you seriously expect anyone but the owner and painter to knwo the paint code to a car online...LOL...most likely a custom mix .

  • my bad, didnt see he responded to you...LOL... but still . dont copy , create..

  • 240s, ae86, and mk3 are the hottest cars. my pov.

  • 240, Mk2, and FC3s or FD :D my POV

  • u can add supra in their too silvia isnt eeally 240 but i know wat u mean. u can also add EVO

  • @sunnyddude same shit they both slow and thats too big of an fmic for stock turbo

  • i know but dont you think its so cool when every ignores the 2007 civic si turbo or supercharged M3 GTR. just to look at the omg no way sr20det!

  • stock redtop at 14 psi= death

  • motor is stock. fine tuned with an sds.

  • @CalgaryDynastar No stock sr20 with 17 psi is death 15 i fine

  • t28

  • Bone stock, yet theres a massive fuck off fmic there...

  • cause the stock side mount sucks.....

  • Comment removed

  • they do, its going to cost me 4500 dollars to drop an sr20det and transmission into my s-13

  • god DAMN i got my sr with tranny for 2k shipped and did it myself.

  • DAM thats a lot...im payin 2100 for a red top installed n all...Greddy front mount and upgraded turbo...idk man i think u can find it cheaper...

  • Why? Do it yourself.

  • T25?

  • stock turbo, which i think is a T25.

  • i don't own this car. we just dynoed it. the person who built it still owns it, though i think he now has it for sale, but it has not sold yet.

  • how much for the car do you know reply back please

  • if you live in hawaii. you bought this for like 7 grand didnt you? i was gonna buy it.

  • wats the exact model of your car?

  • That would be a Nissan Silvia S13 180sx

SR20DET engine with stock T25G turbo.

    202 Hp @ 6000 rpm i believe.

    =]

  • thats pushin out more then 202hp buddy

  • IC way to big for car probably does not have the response time it could have, but nice car

  • bone stock sr20det. stock boost. very responsive.

  • @DVcustomZ

system "response time" has Less to do with I/C core size V.S. pipe Size/Bends

  • @LeSSeNDz being that you can tell the difference between IC immidiately it is all relevant. REAL WORLD RESULTS 2" i/c pipes to 2.5" pipes increased 35whp 55tq spool up 2100 down from 2krpm same car 2" IC pipe Intercooler 2x size over stock 14whp 18tq spool up 2400rpm down from 2krpms. In my experience slightly larger ic piping increase volume w/little drop to velocity. A huge FMIC causes a bigger pressure drop and increases lag on a DD turbo car. Take it for what it worth good luck on your car

  • @DVcustomZ

YES i can tell the Difference between interCoolers

i've CUToff enough endtanks to spot the differences..

and built enough Custom IC systems in my experiences..

a Larger IC Core does Not necessarily mean More Pressure Drop..

it DOES mean the "possibility" of More heat exchange..

keep in mind tho, increased pressure Loss is what tends to happen when a Larger intercooler/Core is integrated into a system poorly..

BTW: thanks but "Luck" is NEVER a part of my custom interCooler designs

  • @LeSSeNDz From my first hand experience larger intercooler equal more lag. There is a sweet spot for sizing IC just like matching compressor maps to engine build Too small=heat soak Too big=LAG. It is cool now for kids to tak a small motor strap on a big turbo and a huge IC and think they are awesome by making 450whp at 6k rpms and hve to beat the crap out of their motors trying to sstay in the power band. IMO less than 200whp by 3k rpms is horrible

  • @DVcustomZ

excuse me if your "opinion" seems as limited as yer experience

im talkin bout "Cores" and yer STILL talkin "intercoolers"

to me there is no "sweetspot"

only a point of diminishing returns

    i group endtanks with piping,

and classify the "Core" as a separate entity.

thus they are grouped by Responsibility & Function

BTW: i've never seen ANY stockSR20 make that kinda Power @ 3000rpm

i'd like to see the Dyno chart and the specSheet on that

  • @LeSSeNDz I personally group them together being that they work coopertively although I do understand the difference and the example I was giving was actually based on my VG30DETT. I will not stoop to trying to affend you knowledge base (umm hmm) so I will just agree to dis-agree I know what I hve experienced and senn on hundreds of turbo cars and it always plays out with similar results

  • @DVcustomZ

    yep, there's absolutely nothing like comparing WHP & RPM range from a 3.0L V6 to a 2.0L i4

    i owned a Dynojet48 for Years

    seen thousands of dyno pulls

oversaw multiple cloned setups all run by an Autronic

sO if we're talkin "similar results" yeah i seen PLENTY

BUT if we talkin highPerformance intercooler systems..

i've designed & fabricated more than just a FEW

    so i'll agree & you'll disagree

that yer Mouth is writing checks yer "knowledge base" can't cash

  • @LeSSeNDz U R confused the exmples I gve when I marked the differences. The mods came from were not a comparison of a 3.0 to a 2.0 but drom a 3.0 to a 3.0. So what your saying is if I take the stock IC off of my wifes rb20 and put on an aftermarket large IC such as the one in this video everything else being the same that the spool up time is going to be the same? B'cse lag was my original statement.B4 u stooped to acting childish I was considering tryng out one of your IC for my drag car oh well

  • @DVcustomZ

the endtank is generally the next biggest obstacle in terms of Flow after the core.

if yer using an off the shelf IC with dual bottomEXIT endtanks like in this Video.

    as air requirements INCREASE..

so does the "DISTANCE" Air must travel thru the core and back out the endtank again.

so yes i would expect response to be WORSE..

now if you flipped one side endtank..

Flow works its way ACROSS mostly the middle of the core & spreads EVENLY outwards as air requirements increase..

  • @DVcustomZ

Kid you are the person "confused"

bringing up Laggggg right about now SHOWS ignorance

maybe you need to go READ what the difference is between "LAG" & "Boost Threshold"

    i don't do Drag cars with HUGE turbo's & a Lotta LAgggg..

i do DailyDrivers with Maxxx'D out System Response

(no huge turbo's & lowest possible Boost Threshold)

altho the techniques & reasonings i give Do work for a highHP dragSetup

They work Better on response setups

  • @DVcustomZ

BTW: i DiD read your Examples..

and asked countering questions which Do NOT relate to motor size

guess you never tried that bigger 2.5" pipe WITH bigger intercooler huh..

FYI: D.I.Y. NOTHING special about my intercoolers/systems

except i put more prep time into ASSURING it flows more & HeatSinks more out

than yer standard "off the shelf" piece

i hope you DO try a different IC design on yer drag car...

i hope its one of YOUR own creation

i hope you Learn something from it

  • @DVcustomZ

this example is a rather incomplete picture in my mind

#1 Did you try that Larger IC with the bigger 2.5" pipe?

what are the Stats on that combo?

#2 what Type of intercoolers did you use?

were they "off the shelf" pieces? endtanks outlet locations?

Larger frontal area cores usually have more passageways for air to pass thru

thus it Should be easier/quicker for the SAME volume of air to pass thru

where people get caughtUP is the endtanks for these Larger IC are usually rubbish

  • 232hp 238tq

  • How much HP??

  • i have the same car with stock internals and a new ball bearing turbo. what kind of horse power are you making? im just waiting to get mine tuned

  • oooh nice sileighty dont see them too often

  • thats not a 240

  • Wow you must think your smart its a 240sx with a s13 Silvia front end.

  • kasey is right, i never seen a genuine sileighty having a left hand driver side.

  • ill kick u in the nuts fot that car! gotta love that monster fmic!

  • sick s13 front end, i like that one the best

most people do the s15 but glad ur different lol

  • where can we find pictures of this car at

  • Rota D2's? damn son, thats what i have on mine lol.

  • Sweet looking car indeed :o

  • nice car man

  • 5th gear roll? sick whip dude.

  • thanks, 3 gear pull.

  • cheee! i see this beast run at hilo drags

  • what r those wheels?
