  • name of the song?

  • Martin Luther posted the 95 theses to the Castle Church door on Oct. 31, not Oct. 15.

  • @centralnyguy37 He never nailed them to the door either.

  • i didn't even watch the video. i just had to use this vid for a school assignment. :P

  • @squirell1952 GET OVER iT, will you!! The RCC was corrupt and false as far as doctrinally!

  • @sweetsweatyfeet Because Jews denied Jesus as the Messiah!! That's why he thought they were devils; basically, it was their beliefs!!.Just turn to Christ and ask him to forgive U!! Think about your eternity, will U??? BTW, your feet = sweet and sweaty stinky! lmao

  • 2:29 bwas it greek because i thought it was latin?

  • The so-called Reformation NEVER HAPPENED AT ALL!!! All he did was PROTEST (hence the term Protestant). What he did was cross over the road to start up his own Church. And even that became as hypocritical as the Roman one!! To reform means to stay within to change what needs to be changed. So, you see, Martin reformed NOTHING AT ALL!! Oh, Marty, we Catholics could do with you these days!

  • HIS WIFE: KATHARINA V.BORA WAS AWESOME!!!!!! Brewmaster, entrepreneur, businesswoman and had 5 kids! damn!!!! She was ahead of her time!!! ;) :)

  • HIS WIFE: KATHARINA V.BORA WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Martin Luther was a racist, ant-semitic, irrational douche bag. Fuck him and the whole Catholic/Protestant cult.

  • @sweetsweatyfeet lol, i believe you are the irrational one. you are making grand sweeping statements about a man who was well-educated, and very influential to a very large group of people. you are insulting, and make yourself sound uneducated. instead of using ad-hominem attacks against people try using factual arguments, just as Martin Luther did in the Leipzig Disputation.

  • @rebelmarksm4n No amount of denial, is going to alter the fact that Luther was a Jew hating racist. This is well known and documented. Scores of vitriolic, anti-semitic rants are present in his own writings. "Fie on you damn dirty Jew" -- being among the more infamous. Hitler was an admitted admirer of Luther and his anti-semitism. Luther deserved more than insults--he deserved a good kick in the nuts.

As for Catholicism or Protestantism--pick your own delusion.

  • @sweetsweatyfeet do you know of any books or websites that have evidence of this ?? please i would like to research more about this topic.. thanks !

  • @liah14 Just google "Martin luther ant-semitic" and you'll find loads of stuff. One site that specifically quotes some of his rants is --- jesuscult (dot) com/Luther_Anti-Semit.htm. His hatred and vitriol toward the Jews is comparable to that of Hitler.

I was also shocked by this when it was brought to my intention. Surprisingly the Catholic Church were not troubled by Luther's anti-semitism but rather took issue with his challenging Catholic dogma.

  • @sweetsweatyfeet His rants against the Jews were done in his late life, when he was slowly dying and riddled with numerous diseases; including an ear infection which prevented him from standing and moving easily, a cataract that prevented him from seeing, and a rotting colon that left his body impacted with bodily waste.

He has originally empathised with the Jews and deal with them politely but, LATER ON, in poor health, he became bitter and angry and turned against them!

  • I am fully aware of this & I am Lutheran. He's NOT PERFECT..BUT HELPED TO GET THE BALL ROLLING IN ALSO REFORMING THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH.

  • @MackLeeGreen - Interesting opinion, but I stated a fact.

  • martin luther nailed his 95 thesis on oct 31 that means howloenn should be a christian holiday

  • @extremeeXrement1 Actually, we Lutherans do celebrate the closest Sunday to this date as Reformation Sunday, and often our young people are confirmed on this date.

  • Great video. We need more people like Martin Luther nowadays.

  • Luther was a great lover and believer of Christ. I never said a Catholic was going to hell because they are not Lutheran, so lay-off CATHS. IF WE BELIEVE CHRIST HAS DIED FOR OUR SINS, THEN LOVE SHOULD FLOW OUT FOR OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO SO BADLY NEED HIM. REMEMBER, WE ARE NOT PERFECT BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IN THE GREAT I AM, BUT WE ARE HELD BLAMELESS--PRAISE GOD!! SO PLEASE STOP THE FIGHTING. SOMEDAY GOD WILL SET US STRAIGHT WITH THE FACTS UNTIL THEN LET'S FIGHT AGAINST SATAN'S LIES TOGTETHER

  • Of all the different churches that came out of the Reformation, which one is the correct one, since they all differ on theology?

  • @AtomicMonster559 The Catholic Church is.

  • Martin Luther's hymns are still sung today in many churches.

May Almighty God preserve His truth in this corrupt world.

Thank you for this informative video.

  • "October 15, 1517"?

Wrong. It was the 31st. It was Luther's little Halloween prank.

After that he egged the local car wash and then lit a smoke bomb in the boy's room of the YMCA.

  • luther also sayd that the pope has the mark of the antichrist

  • What they don’t know

    Luther’s 95 theses acknowledged

The Office Of the Pope more than 20 times. And the Office of The Pope was instituted By Christ.

In his theses number 25-29 acknowledged the existence of Purgatory.

He also reinforces his belief in indulgences and that they are biblical. Quote from Luther Number 71 in his theses

Let him be accursed who denies the apostolic character of the Indulgences

  • @martlut

    -

"he reinforces his belief in indulgences and that they are biblical"

    -

False. The main reason for the 95 These was to discuss the error of selling indulgences. Luther said "He who gives to the needy does a greater good than he who buys indulgences." THAT is perhaps the nicest thing he's ever said in a sentence with the word "indulgences" in it :)

  • I'm fairly certain that the date he nailed the 95 Thesis to the door of All Saint's Church was October 31st.

  • Yeah this bloke was really kind fellow

LUTHER CONDONED THE DEATHS OF A 100,000 PEASANTS

The peasants of Germany revolted in 1525 because of their miserable living conditions and were slaughtered at the behest of Martin Luther!

Here is a quote from Luther that will send chills up your spine:

"They should be knocked to pieces, strangled and stabbed, secretly and openly, by everybody who can do it, just as one must kill a mad dog!"

  • @Hexachloraphine

    -

What venomous lies you spit. Luther NEVER condoned the Peasants' War; he was against it. The quote that you gave was from his work against Jews. Thus that quote, although not a befitting comment from Luther, had nothing to do with the Peasants' War.

  • @AgApE010 It appears you know little of Luther I never aid the Jews and their lies had any thing to do with the Peasant war

  • @martlut

    -

The comment about the Peasants' War wasn't made to you.

  • @AgApE010 so what he backed them read his comments about it such a vile hateful schmuck Pun Intended

  • @martlut

    -

He never backed the Peasants' War. "Read his comments" is a ridiculously broad statement and shows that you are not sure yourself whether what you say is true.

  • 11 Catholics disliked this video. :-D

  • @Morgh78 lmfao

  • @Morgh78 Why would anyone hate the truth?

  • @MrBuster128 I don´t know. How can anyone fail to see that the reformation was justified?

  • @Morgh78 Oh sure. The reformation was justified. We needed to have a split Christian Church with thousands of denominations whose believers each think they have the real truth, but don't.

  • Thank God for St. Martin Luther & The Lutheran Reformation! :)

  • his a true christian he believes that jesus is the way the truth the life..nothing comes to our God only jesus..,so you catholics sorry but you need stop praying to any saints and human made things ..,you just need to accept jesus as your saviour and you will be save..,

  • @roycepitcher Sorry, but you know nothing about the Catholic Church.

  • @cudbwrse maybe not, but I DO! More than I want to know! There are so many wonderful catholics out there! They have done so much good in the world and as for piety/marriage etc.they are outstanding! My priest in Arkansas saved my life! BUT..I did my homework & found out the system is flawed at best, and utterly idolatrous and corrupt at worst. Actually opening my Bible & studying it brought the Light of Truth, and now I finally understand why the reformation happened; I have the JOY of the Lord.

  • Hail the man who is against Jesus.

Satan must be proud of his son Luther ;)

  • @ChrisDaron

He probably Did a better job then all the popes combined.

  • @guyfromcanadayup If destroying the Church and Catechism of Jesus is a good job, the yes... he beat every pope doing an excellent job. He's the greatest minion of Satan, I must say.

  • @ChrisDaron Amazing you have a youtube account, now for some reason that qualifies you into being a religious scholar. Obviously you are "unlearned" in the truth and turn aside unto fables of men. You are lovers of men, rather than lovers of God. Free yourself from the cult of Romanism, your eternal salvation is at stake!

  • @herbertwarmstrong .. Says the damned Protestant... yeah. Like I hadn't read or heard that before. Haha.

  • this fat german fuck is a traitor. fuck that nigga

  • what a legend

  • Question: Was Martin Luther a true German or was he a Roman, part of the holy roman empire that simply denounced his own fellow Roman bretheran? I know that "Germany" was then part of the holy roman empire however, is there evidence that he was of "Barbarian, heathen or the uncivilized" as Paul in the bible refers to these peoples? Would they let a heathen be a Priest?

  • Luthers 95 theses acknowledged

The Office Of the Pope more than 20 times. And the Office of The Pope was instituted By Christ.

In his theses number 25-29 acknowledged the existence of Purgatory.

  • @martlut

Wow, you must really not like him. Even though you mal-quoted him several times...and take his writings out of context....your vehemence comes through very plainly. Are you defending Catholics or Mormons? I see much the same coming from both.

  • @TbMichael2 he was a diseased crazy anti Semitic clown

  • @martlut How do you know?

  • @historyisknowledge history is knowledge

  • He also reinforces his belief in indulgences and that they are biblical. Quote from Luther Number 71 in his theses

Let him be accursed who denies the apostolic character of the Indulgences

The Point here is the protestant faith was still unknown to Luther and to the rest of the Christian world at this time 10/31/17

Their was no statement on Justification on faith alone or bible alone no repudiation of the Papal office or any other Catholic dogma. Which proties of today would reject..

  • All you have on this date is a confused and convoluted priest. Who claiming to be a catholic was clearly falling from the faith. Into his own wild version of the faith especially in regards to indulgences he clearly did not hold the protestant version of them.

  • I do insist on the certainty that sooner or later once we hold power Christianity will be overcome and the German Church established. Yes, the German church, without a Pope ....and Luther, if he could be with us, would give us his blessing. (Adolf Hitler, Hitlers speeches, edited by Prof. N.H. Baynes [oxford, 1942], pg. 369.)

  • Martin Luther :

"Noblemen, townsmen, peasants, all classes understand the Evangelium better than I or St. Paul; they are now wise and think themselves more learned than all the ministers."

  • "This one will not hear of Baptism, and that one denies the sacrament, another puts a world between this and the last day: some teach that Christ is not God, some say this, some say that: there are as many sects and creeds as there are heads. No yokel is so rude but when he has dreams and fancies, he thinks himself inspired by the Holy Ghost and must be a prophet."

  • ``We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of God, that we received it from them, and that without them we should have no knowledge of it at all

  • If the world lasts, it will be necessary, on account of the differing interpretations of Scripture which now exist, that to preserve the unity of faith, we should receive the [Catholic] councils and decrees and fly to them for refuge."

    ficummeruit

  • @martlut The authority you need, Jesuit, is Herbert W. Armstrong.

  • @herbertwarmstrong yes i guess you didn't know he raped his own daughter old Herbert did

  • @martlut Those are only allegations which cannot be proven.

  • @herbertwarmstrong sorry truth not allegation

  • read Martins work. salvation comes from believing in Jesus, comes by faith apart from self effort. Which is The gift of God. People did not know that back then, the new testament was not translated. They listened to people who entitled themselves holy made their own regulations.giving money for salvation for example. the only spiritual authority over us is Christ, there is no man in the middle. Christ is our righteousness and redemption, by His work we are free.

  • Watch video [salvation is not for sale] on youtube.

  • Great!!!

    Greatings from Germany!

    God bless you!

  • good work my friend

  • Thanks God For Luther...I really believe he was seeking the Heart of God. We could use a guy like him now-a-days

  • its a shame that such person, start wars between the church that jesuschrist began and the dumb people that believe that anyone could make a church

  • So I was wrong, and ill informed. Can't be right all the time.

  • For more of what Luther said/taught copy the following into youtube:

Martin Luther, the Devil and Denominations

  • listen you keep saying how dumb lutherans are for not listening to jesus which we do more than you guys who im assuming your catholic because we dont praise false idols.

  • Strawman argument:

Protestants say: "Catholics worhip saints", and then point out where scripture condemns worship of anyone except God. The ignorant are then misled to think that the True Church has violated this commandment, when in fact it enforced it for over a thousand years before the firrst Protestant was Born!!!

Worship is due to God ALONE - The Mother of God & Saints are NOT worshiped!!!!

To violate this, one incurs excommunication Ipso Facto, and is in apostatsy!!!!

  • then please explain the Angelus, the Hail Mary, and all other saints that have a prayer. their statues are PRAYED to. i know what youre going to say next that you ask the saints to pray for you you dont pray to them. well thats a load.

  • falcom2012-

"please explainn the Angelus, the Hail Mary"

    - The Angelus begins; " The Angel declared onto Mary" etc - It recalls for us the time when God, though His messenger announced that Christ would be born from her womb, and bring us salvation.

  • falcom2012 -

The Hail Mary come from the words that God spoke , through Gabriel and that Elizabeth spoke "filled with the Holy Spirit"

Lk 1:28 -"And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women."

Lk 1:42 - "And she cried out with a loud voice, and said: Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb." - To which we add "Jesus".

We ask her to "pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death".

  • yes. Mary the 'Coredemptrix', empowered by Antichrist to act as coredeemer, when in reality, like all the dead except Christ, Mary, His mother, has long returned to the dust from whence she came.

  • falcom2012 -

You say; "their statues are being Prayed to".

This is clearly false - no one prays to a plaster/marble object. It would not only excommunicate one Ipso facto for idolitary, but would be so inconceiveably ridiculous - i.e. you would have to be an inmate in a lunatic asylum to believe that marble can "hear" anyone!!

We pray to ask the Saints in heaven to inteceed and pray for us on earth - to Christ of course, whos will they have done on earth.

  • So why are they there? Exodus 20, Lev. 26

  • willcobbett-

Why do people have pictures of relatives and the Queen in their houses? Not to worship them one would like to imagine!

    Idolitary is forbidden by God.

  • And just what makes you think that the saints in heaven can hear your prayers?

the real issue is this: If a jew was what Catholics do today; bowing before statues and praying, and lighting candles etc...and Moses caught them...what would have happened?

Could they use the cop-out "I wasn't praying TO the statue...I was praying TO a saint to intercede for me".

    Would that have flew?

  • So what about the plaster, stone and wooden idols you insist on grovelling to? Ex 20, Lev 26.

  • the bread and wine are not the body and blood of christ also he nevr formed any churches

  • thank you!!! Tomorrow I got a test on Reformation, and this vid helped alot ^___^

  • "If Moses should intimidate you with his stupid 10 commandments tell him go chase yourself out to the Jews"

    -Martin Luther

  • You need to lay off the drugs, dude...they're messing with your head.

  • you idiot it was october 31st not the 15th

  • he will then reply then why did sone die is your righteousness better then his ?then you will be cast in to fire sir. God says the mere thought of foolishenss sin what you call sin and what god calls sin are different you and i have been sinning our whole life more then you do good . 2 religions in the world , Cains fruits and vegetables unaccepted ( works) able performed the sacrifice lamb with out blemmish Gods righteousnes ) excepted .

  • simple God watched his son die a horrible nescessary death for you. If you were to tell God when you see him before you enter why should i let you in my Kingdom , because the blood of the passover lamb of god is the only answer. romans 6 23 says the wages of sin is death even only 1 sin, if you answerl him well you see lord i helped an old lady across the street i put moneyin the poor box oh and i fed a couple homless people.

  • look colossians 2;16 17 let no man judge you in meat or drink or respect to a holy day a shadow of things..... to come ? thats old testament stuff that the Jews were trying to force the law back on gentiles but it says to come ? as in its not here now but will return. faith is substance of things hoped for. you hoping for christs return for the church. he is not here now . but when he returns you dont need faith because you see him and here him.

  • fella you can prove a scripture by comparing scripture with scripture. Romans 9 32 also you are inserting things there sir which aren,t . The end of 9 sets the context for 10 read it vs 3 paul is speaking for isreal 'might be saved " they have there trust in self righteousnees and not on Gods righteousness ( christ ) It is though you dispprove your self i dont understand "NO " man is justified by the Law (keeping your good works).

  • gal Vs 13 christ "( redeemed us ) WHEN HE GAVE UP THE GHOST HE SAID IT IS FINISHED ! WHAT DID HE FINISH ? PAYING YOUR DEBT YOU ARE FREE HE KEPT THE LAW YOU COULDNT. now heres where every catholic and reformest mess up I paul and apostle to you the gentile ( thats you ) ! tim 2 15 rightly dividing the word of truth. paul has has the dispensation of Grace. Matthew hebrews james peter ( all to Jews thats why they show up in the end of the book ) it s not for you.

  • None of the verses which you cite prove that you are exempt from following the commands of Christ! It is ludicrous to suggest that they do not apply to you! Are you saying that Christ preached a different gospel to that of St Paul? If so, then you would have to say that Christ preached a false gospel! Also, if Christs teachings are not for you, then who are they for?

  • streetpreacher49's, Your heart is in the right place, but your sense of history and knowledge is questionable.

  • All 33.000 protestant faiths cant be right? That would be a violation of Aristotles law of non contradiction. If we are the whore of Babylon then I offer this passage.."how can satan stand against satan"? If these monsters mock us in ritual, then its very obvious that one can only reach an opinion via the method of disjunction... otherwise you are only stating opinion, and facts based not on thought, but solely on emotions and feelings..use logic..BTW you can thank us for preserving knowledge.

  • simple many shall come claiming to do works in my name,, capone, mussolini, goebels ,hitler good catholics. read you history, catholica killed more people in the name of Christ. verily i say ye must be born again. as far as faith verses works Ephesians 2 ;8-9.

  • The ony thing that Ephesians 2:8-9 proves is that we are not saved by works ALONE! Catholics do not have a problem with this verse, in fact other verses prove that works ALONE do not save you (Rom 9:31-32 Gal 3:11 Heb 6:1 Heb 9:14 Tim 1:9 Titus 3:4-5 Gal 2:16 etc)

However FAITH ALONE is also disproven by scripture (1 Pet 2:12 Rev 2:2 Mt 5:16 Mt 16:27 Mt 25:34-36 James 2:14-18 etc)

James 2:26 "For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead"

  • eph 2 8 . 9 the word alone is nowhere in this verse, "for by grace "(unmerited favor ) you dont earn it. "are ye saved through faith'(beleiving ) that not of yourselves( not your works Again) " it is the gift of god ' (you cant earn something that is given) "not of works lest anytman should boast " cant make that any more plain. titus 3;5 NOT BY WORKS RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH YE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US.

  • How does James 2:26 make it a faith works combo for salvation? All it is saying is that a true faith naturally brings forth the right works. A living faith brings forth the works. But it is the grace through faith that saves. It is a free gift. Have you ever worked for any gift in your life?? If you did it was not a gift. If you could contribute, God could've found an easier way to provide salvation than giving his life for us. If you can earn it why did He die???

  • James 2:26 Is simply talking about how that a true faith produces works. Why would you connect works as contributing to salvation when good works are an evidence of salvation. This is clear if you read the words in this passage. Salvation is a gift. A gift is received and not worked for or earned or paid back. A true living faith produces the right kind of works.

How does 1 Pt 2:12 disprove faith only? It is talking about others glorifying God cause of your good works. Where is salvation here?

  • Do you think Christ would have been happy with an incredible division amongst his flock? The reformation was an act of a capricious rebelious behavior that I believe the great rebel himself smiled upon with glee. satan worshipers steal a Eucharist from a Catholic mass and defile it in a mock black mass....even they know we are the appex of Christianity. They dont mock, Mormons, Watchtowres, Calvins, Cool aid drinkers, King Jimbo thumpers, and for that matter any of the 33.000 protestant faiths.

  • "Paul writes that we live by faith and not by sight" How did you connect the dots and come up with the assumption that Paul's writtings applies to "Church"? Paul is talking about faith not about the body of Christ. Do you not congragate when you go to Church, and are you invisible when you do? You must be a non denominational..."Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven". Truly we see Christ across all points of the earth.

  • "Burning people at the stake for disagreeing with the church" What? John Calvin Had Servetus Burned at the Stake! You protestants are not exempt from these brutal and dark times. The Church comes out smelling like roses when you do the math. The question of the inquisition pops up all the time and protestants cannot present records that match these grandiose accusations.

  • Faith and works go hand in hand. Faith alone was Martin Luthers baby. BTW We all know that the reformation was a politically motivated movement . I tell you Martin Luther was a Catholic all the way down to his sandles Even he venerated Mary, mother of Jesus. Instead of reforming the church he succeeded in deforming it.

  • MackLeeGreen, "The Catholic church as it exists today bears little if any resemblance to the church that Christ started" Ya? There we're only 12 apostles back then. I dont think it looked nothing like 33.000 protestant faiths all in contradiction with eachother, compared to the first church started 2000 yrs ago 1.3 billion strong. Jesus built his church on Peter (Kaipha) there are only a couple times when a persons name changed in the Bible; ergo, Simon to Peter.

  • @Snotra The classic Roman Catholic straw man argument. I am not defending any of the other Protestant traditions. If you knew anything about Luther you would know that he would have as much problem with most of the other Protestant traditions as he ever did with the Roman Catholic church. They did not come about because of him. They would have come about with or without him.

  • Finally Snotra. If you would do some research beyond the propaganda that your priest gives you then you might understand that the reformation was inevitable and necessary. Luther was not the first reformer, he was just the first one the Romanists weren't able to squash. And despite what Rome might tell you, Luther's teaching was not new but rather a return to the teaching and preaching of the apostolic church including many of your beloved church fathers.

  • @MackLeeGreen Give examples then of church fathers and their teachings with info where I can see for myself.

  • Comment removed

  • Peter vs Luther!~

  • thank you ML, thanks for your courage we

prots &cathos can now enjoy the freedoms of the modern world, we can even slander U.

  • heymoe64, Sheesshh! I dont know where you get your facts brother. By the time Constantine died, we Catholics already had about 32 Popes and the Church was flourishing. Example read, Ignatius letter to the smyrnaeans around 110. AD (early church fathers)... way beforeConstantine! You better question your pastor about that non sequitur.

  • The RCC believes in the myth that kingdom of God can be made visible on earth through means other than Word and sacrament. But Jesus' kingdom is not of this world, He makes this clear. Paul writes that we live by faith and not by sight. He writes that our lives are hidden in Christ until Christ returns. Hidden as in not visible. Thus all of the RCC's efforts to make the kingdom visible in the Pope are at best in vain, at worst idolatrous. Don't like this?? Take it up with Peter or Paul or Jesus.

  • MackLeeGreen's, You think Martin Luther would have been happy with 33.000 protestant faiths all in contradiction with each other? Hey friend I didnt say it, Jesus did. "You are the Rock" "Gates of hell shall not prevail against it" etc... The oldest Church to day, the one Jesus started 2000 yrs ago still stands. If you have a problem with that, then tell Jesus to add another religion to all of the other protestant faiths.

  • Jesus didn't start the Catholic church...Constantine did in 325AD!!!

  • Snotra,

The Catholic church as it exists today bears little if any resemblance to the church that Christ started. Speaking of the church that Christ started, in that exchange with Peter Jesus makes clear the church is built upon the Word of Christ that Peter had confessed, not Peter himself, and certainly not some man-made papacy. Peter himself affirmed this in Acts when he said "All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved." Notice he says nothing about the papacy.

  • Luther wouldn't be happy with many of the beliefs that came after him. He condemned some of them just as much as he condemned the Romanists because when it came down to it they had the same errors as the Romanists, they couldn't take God at His word. God's Word makes it clear that we are saved by faith alone, but the Romanists thought they knew better so they added works. Thats what many of the beliefs that came after Luther did.

  • And I hate to break it to you snotra but Christianity before Luther was hardly the picture of unity and harmony. There was plenty of division and strife before Luther. The only difference with Luther is that the Romanists weren't able to burn him at the stake like they did with people like John Hus who came long before Luther. Burning anyone who disagrees with the the Pope at the stake is not unity and harmony. And even with that, there was still the Greek Orthodox and Coptics.

  • Correction...Fix the Church.

  • mtfury1968, Well I guess your saying Peter failed Christ, and he needed, Martin Luther to fix it along with, Knox, Calvin, Zwingli,etc.. and you guys criticize us Catholics for bowing to doctrines of man...shheesshh!

  • So are you saying that it was Peter's idea to exploit the masses through the abusive selling of indulgences?? Do you think Peter would have been ok with that?? Apparently you don't have a problem with that. And thus the result of a lifetime of swallowing whatever rhetoric and propaganda Rome feeds you.

  • Ha ha ha ha ha !

    The Pope is Antichrist!

  • Cobbett was wrong. The Catholic Church crippled the people. It is no accident that in the Peasant's Revolt of the 1380's, it was the church that recieved the ire of the serfs.

  • Why the *** music ?

The Papacy is still the seat of Satan as it was , and as it is foretold at the last day .

It has and never will be otherwise .

Every reformer without exception knew and proclaimed the Pope was The Antichrist .

The present day Protestant churches are apostate abominations who slink back to their Harlot Mother !

  • Martin Luther was a hero.

The video had many faults that should be corrected.

Here are two quotes taken from the video. "luther thought", "luthers ideas".

Luther didn't start the reformation because he thought, or had different Ideas from the Roman Catholic Church, he did it because he knew that many in the Roman Catholic Church were perverting the word of God for their own gain. He knew because they were clearly going against the Bible.

  • Hi Community,

it's not totally correct. He doesn't nailed it to the door of Wittenberg. It's only a legend. In right he send it to printing-house to copy and send to all. And you are right. He is a hero.

You are welcome to visit us in Luther-Country-Germany.

    yours

    Chris

  • Hallo Leute,

    Euer Chris

  • this is what we are learning at my school now

  • Only holy men create great lasting movements. Bad fruit comes from bad trees?

  • Catholic with a big "C" is a thing (Body of Christ) the Church.. not an idea or an expression. And yes the Church is visible go anywere around the world and you will see. One can turn the argument around and say, "why do protestants worship in buildings as well? Martin luther succeded in deforming the Church not reforming it.

  • A church which sold Indulgences (redemption for sin by payment of Gold Coin)was quite deformed by it's own theologians.Martin Luther, Calvin, Knox, Zwingli et al 'reformed' the Church. Have you ever wondered *why* the Reformation happened? People learned to read, and learned how they had been lied to by generations of Idolaters.

  • mtfury1968: You protestants always blame us catholics as idolaters, when you guys are the ones taking books out of the Holy Bible. Tell me where those 7 books are. We still have them because if you read Revelation 22:19 you would see what happens when you take out from the bible. HERETICS!!

  • those secondary canonic books are out of the cannon Bible because they are not carrying same spirit in them as whole Bible. and that was not protestants who did it. it was someone who was not fighting ower catholics or protestants.

  • Martin Luther just said what the bible says. That no man does good, and only those who have faith in Christ have salvation. Every good work that follows after is in Gratitude to your salvation. Works are only a response to your salvation. How can anyone boast in any works they do if those works are given by Christ? Roman Catholics believe they do something to be saved, rather than God. How heretical.

  • Very nice...

Luther is the hero of the world! Thanks be to God.

  • Protestants are so confused they think only because they call themselves Christians That's going to automatically allowed them in heaven, Only pure souls are allowed in Heaven you can go to mass or service all you want but if there is no Love in your heart and your soul is dirty you surely will not enter.

Martin Luther modified everything to his convinience because He was corrupt, God must be very dissapointed in him for dividing the Church

  • wow thats exactly what the catholics said

  • this is a good video to learn about the basics of the reformation.

oh and the meet at 2:15 is called diet of worms (pronounced Verms) which is quite important (resulted the edict of worms)

  • Don't know where you come from but Worms is pronounced as Worms, cause "o" means "o" and not "e" in German.

  • It's a German proper noun.

  • Satan worshipers steal a host from a catholic mass and use it in an perverted black mass. In ritual hey dont mock, Mormons,JW's, Baptists, King Jimmy thumpers or for that matter any of the 35.000 Protestant faiths. They all spawned from Martin Luther not Jesus. Jesus said.."On you Peter I will build my church" Not Churches? If the Catholic faith is the whore of Babylon and Lucifer followers mock us then I must quote "How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided how is it able to stand?

  • You speak much truth!

  • Roman Catholics always point to history to prove there points. The word catholic means universal. How can you not see that meaning invisible Church? Christ did build his church, are you claiming that it is a physical visible place? No, it is the invisible church. Mary, Popes, Mass are all false things, so the reformation came from the mouth of Luther, but was inspired by the bible.

  • Castleman711: You do mean your incomplete false bible right?

  • Wow, this makes mw want to read about Martin Luther.

  • Good video. God's servant.

    In God Is My Trust.

  • God's servant and my favorite song. thanks.Yay Missouri Synod! i like debating too especially with roman catholics so challenge me. lol.

  • Luther simply wanted to reform some of the teachings of the highly corrupt Church of his day, inadvertantly creating a movement that ultimately split into factions. After Luther's death, Rome did ultimately institute some of the reforms Luther called for. The Church of the Middle Ages was only united because of intimidation in the form of the Inquisition. Some would say that the diversity of the Christian Church today is more reflective of God's creation.

  • luther hated jews and felt to sin greatly was ok and he kept many catholic traditions so he really was a wonderful man to follow, i suggest you get out of religion and follow jesus only.

  • Then truth is subjective then?

  • Those who are bashing Luther, go get a life. I know that there are much better ways to spend your time than talking shit. It is not cool dude. Wtf, if you believe in God, who really cares how you practice it? That is just me though. [And yea, I am a PROUD Lutheran.]

  • Faith alone does not exist in the Bible. Martin Luther deformed the church..not reformed it. 35.000 protestant faiths all in contradiction with each other. Mormons, Fundies, Watchtowers, Methodist, Anglicans, prosperaty thumpers, cool aid drinkers, etc... What a mess, come back to Rome.

  • and be repressed !

  • Ahh the single transferable post returns
