I substituted there a few times. I love the students, it makes me feel sick and sad that
the people who get into power positions, don't really care about these young ones coming up. On a positive note: This was a great video, and we must stay together cause together we got some awesome power and we can change the tide.
When I was there .. we needed 280 credits to graduate .. Our class did just fine .. .. some of these students today just dont care about school because I see students running up and down the street and hanging in front of the doorsteps of houses everyday . It is up to the students to go to school/class. And if they dont want to be at school then they should not be part of the statistics because that just makes the school look bad.
Uhhh... If the VP has been there since 1997 and there's a continued DECLINE, then he and the other staff are a part of the problem. No excuse for that. ENGAGE & EDUCATE!!!
@Angiemo72 Maybe the students are caring less and less each year. Even the students said it was the fault of the student who fail to graduate. Also the boy who said people judge him by his second grade scores I do not believe him. I really doubt every teacher he had looked at his test scores from the second grade especially if he improved afterwards.
This is America! This is what late capitalism poverty looks like.

Thank you for making this video and sharing the truth with us. Clearly you are engaged in the educational process what if all students were?
