She's one of the loveliest people in music nowadays, in a sort of John Peel kind of way. That is a very rare thing in pop these days. She might smoke (I'm not sure if she does now,) but that does not make her a horrid person! We all have our personal vices, after all.
Kate Bush gave up in the nineties, mainly due to her son, but also for general health. Kate did not chain smoke, so she's not as bad as you might think, but nearly all the singers of the seventies smoked - it wasn't all that bad back then, to them. i dont think wrinkles are formed solely on the sun and smoking,dieting, if at all in some cases, simply old age plays a huge part. Kate doesn't look wrinkly

It's hard to tell, since most of her recent photos are album ones (she's hardly the type to get papped is she?) and they're usually airbrushed. But like everyone, she's going to get wrinkles.

Now that I've seen Kate Bush smoking, I'm not sure how I feel about her anymore. I'm very confused about it all. She's obviously a bad person, so am I allowed to enjoy her music?

She's one of the loveliest people in music nowadays, in a sort of John Peel kind of way. That is a very rare thing in pop these days. She might smoke (I'm not sure if she does now,) but that does not make her a horrid person! We all have our personal vices, after all.

Kate Bush gave up in the nineties, mainly due to her son, but also for general health. Kate did not chain smoke, so she's not as bad as you might think, but nearly all the singers of the seventies smoked - it wasn't all that bad back then, to them. Just because she smoked doesn't make her a bad person. There are millions of smokers everywhere, does that make them all bad people?

She mentioned in an interview in 1978/9 she'd tried hash a few times and a drug which she didn't know the name of. And that she smoked her first cigarette at nine (I thought I was bad for trying mine at eleven!). But taking all of this into account, she's still the most talented person I've ever seen, and good for her for having the determination to quit smoking.

????? And how do you know that??? Bla bla bla wrinkles...have been smoking since I was 15, now in my late 30's....not a wrinkle. However I have never baked in the sun and none of my parents ot grandparents wrinkle or wrinkled much. Blame genetics and foremost the sun!!! Smoking does not cause wrinkles on everyone...lot's of friends who smoke and have smoked...the sun seems to be the main factor and then genes....and come on...she looks great!!!

@Paguridae the sun is responsable of the skin-aging 70% at leas !!!! but it's true too that genetics are a big factor. A smokers body (I mean a real smoker) needs 23 times more vitamin C as a non smoker. And vitamin C is one of the most important thinks for your skin, to keep it healty I mean. So, a real smoker, that does not drink at least 2 liters of water a day, has big chance to look older than a non smoker when he is 45 or 50. Of course, it depends on more things than the smoke, yes.

yes - we were in the UK last summer. In Scotland and N.Ireland the ban was on and just about to start in England.We got a couple of smokes in at pubs in Brighton, london and Oxford just before the ban.

she smoked and the last I heard was about 1985 when she was trying to give up. My guess is she has given up since having her son. She also did an interview in the late 70s saying she occassionally smoked hash and grass!she never smoked in any videos inclusing the dreaming, its just a special effect.
